“The manager/ owner is helpful, nice and knowledgeable. We were looking for a month long camp before the season opened. He had several sights open and helped us park and set up. Well, it's been 3 weeks & I'm really impressed! Victor is a genuinely kind man. He's done an amazing job at getting this place ready for the season. On the weekend this place can get busy but by 10pm, it's dark & quiet. Folks respect your space but will offer a soda, beer, or dog treat as you walk your dog (we have 5 & no one bats an eye). I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to camp overnight, staying a month, or looking to park your camper for good. Thanks for the ice cream, great grandboy impressed matchbox cars, tour directions, firewood, & making us feel welcome & at home. We may have to do this again in a couple of years!”

“Amazing B&B experience! The owners went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and happy with our stay. The rooms were clean and bigger than how they looked in the pictures! The surrounding area and walking trails were beautiful. And I haven’t even mentioned the breakfast… We stayed for two nights and looked forward to breakfast both mornings! It was so good! I would 100% recommend this place to my friends, and my fiancé and I plan to come back again!”

“I was absolutely delighted by the cleanliness of this inn. The location itself is unremarkable but what set this place apart from any number of places I've stayed in last 6 months was the staff. Every single person here goes above and beyond to provide a great experience. Breakfast here was much higher quality food than at Super 8 or Motel 6. The staff ensure that all items are stocked from the moment they start serving until the end of service. I was stunned by how well the staff attended to the breakfast and the lack of any desire. If they had it, it was out for consumption. I felt very welcome and appreciated for staying at this particular location that is usually reserved for much higher end hotels. The people here are grateful for your business and they aren't ashamed to let you know it. I would highly recommend staying at this location for a family atmosphere, especially if you are traveling alone. The staff here have your back and treat you like one if their own. “I don't typically leave reviews for basic hotels because I find that besides cleanliness, a hotel is a hotel.. However, upon checking in this Days Inn had the absolute nicest young man working behind the counter. Unfortunately, I forgot his name but he was working the afternoon weekend shift. He was super friendly, very knowledgeable and when the parking was full, he helped multiple cars find spots, including removing his own car for a guest. Hotel was fine and it was awesome how the pool was open til midnight. 7 minute drive to Cascade! I will be back!”

“It was so nice to be able to get together with a few family members for a long weekend. The house was impeccably clean. It was perfect as everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. We were able to make all of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. The dining room table fit everyone. We played games we brought and ones they have available at the house. The house has both Victorian and modern decore that makes it both stylish and comfy. I can definitely see our family having future gatherings at The Bailey House Bed & Bike Inn.”

“We stayed at the Port over the weekend and had a fantastic, comfortable and relaxing stay. We booked the Mississippi suite and it was so cute and trendy! The beds were fantastic, the room was clean and had everything we needed. The welcome gift was well thought out. I appreciated the provided ear plugs as I thought the sound from the train tracks being so close would keep me up at night, but I didn't hear the trains at all. Check-in was convenient and the owner is so responsive to text messages (which is very appreciated). I highly enjoyed the electric fireplace in the room, it made it cozy. It was centrally located to the fantastic downtown establishments. What a wonderful place, we will most definitely be back if we're in the area again.”

“Very pretty lights! Brought our dogs, they enjoyed it from the back seats and windows down. It gets crazy busy, so be prepared to wait 25 mins to even get in (tip: buy the express pass online) and then it's very slow moving bumper to bumper for about 20 mins. We donated toys at the end and waved to Santa. :)”

“The wings here are so good. I brought some friends up to the lake house and told them you got to try them. It's nothing like back home (Chicago area). They are deep fried but you dip them in your choice of sauce or sauces if you want to. So good! I was worried I over sold them, but everyone agreed they were great. Staff and owners are friendly and the deck overlooking the lake is nice in the summer, specially when they have live entertainment.”

“We used Sugarland for our wedding reception summer of 2021 (the weather was stormy but cleared up and cooled the temp down so it was perfect temperature even though it was August). The venue is gorgeous and the food was very tasty! It was so convenient for the wedding party to be able to stay in the houses across the street. I highly recommend choosing this for your wedding! Nancy and her staff were wonderful to work with and incredibly they were able to make all the food garlic-free for me (I'm allergic)! A comment things going in that I wish I would have known earlier: 1) when you meet with Nancy, be sure that all the details that you discuss is on the quote. There was a minor snafu but she was able to work it out in the moment and I (the bride) didn't know there was an issue to begin with! In hindsight, I should have mentioned that the detail was missing from the quote but I had assumed that she remembered even though she has so many weddings to deal with. 2) They do allow fireworks which was awesome! Be sure that Nancy has added to the contract that they will set them off for you. Day of, the person she said would do it, didn't want to so we had to scramble to find someone to light them off. Thankfully her bar staff came to the rescue! Overall this place was wonderful in every way possible! A little more organizing/planning better and the event would have been 100% perfect! PS the sound in the barn is tricky - the people off to the sides of the barn and outside couldn't hear announcements well. You may want to give your DJ a heads up.”
