Hartford Dog Park

Address: 36_2804001001, Hartford, WI 53027, USA

“Clean area with space for my dog to run around and enjoy. We went when it was cold and after dark but it was perfect for a dog who loves to run after his tennis ball!”

FAWN-DOE-ROSA Wildlife Educational Park

Address: 2131 US-8, St Croix Falls, WI 54024, USA

Zoo Park Store

“A very cool experience to be able to be with wildlife you'd never be able to otherwise. To pet, feed and mingle with deer, geese, ducks and peacocks is the coolest thing! Of course all of the other animals were also fun, but, more of the typical zoo or farm animals. My children were in heaven and adored the adventure, as did I. Will definitely be going again. Highly recommend”

Droster Park

Address: 5629 Kalas St, Madison, WI 53716, USA

Park

“Nice playground, basketball court, plenty of space.”

Governor Nelson State Park

Address: 5140 Co Hwy M, Waunakee, WI 53597, USA

Park

“A lesser known state park with great views of Madison named after a remarkable public servant. The park is smaller than others in the state park system, but with its proximity to Madison, it is an easy visit with beautiful trails and stunning views across Lake Mendota. It is a great place for more solitary hikes. The prairie trails offer a casual hike or a run reminiscent of a cross country course. There is great water access available here. A beach with a pavilion, playground and volleyball court. A separate pet swim area. And then the boat launch. Gaylord Nelson was a former governor and United States Senator of Wisconsin and is most famous for founding Earth Day. He was a leading conservationist, consumer advocate and supporter of civil rights and civil liberties. Visit this park for a pleasant few hours spent in nature and honoring someone who brought conservation to the forefront of the national conscience.”

Walt Lindemann Sportman's Park

Address: 3411 US-51, Janesville, WI 53545, USA

Park

“It was the perfect place for a family celebration! Park was very clean. The rental of pavilion went smoothly. The kids enjoyed the playground and hunting for the deer. The park is peaceful, lots of room but not so large that we couldn't see what kids were doing. Very relaxing and fun for all! Will definitely consider this again for future gatherings.”

Sussex Village Park

Address: W244N6125 Weaver Dr, Sussex, WI 53089, USA

Park

“Nice disc golf course with a variety of route options for each hole. It covers the park grounds well, playing the hills on the front 9 and woods on the back 9. Decent concrete tee pads and minimal standing water (Spring time after a rain). Open year round, good for all skill levels. Parking lot right at hole 1.”

Lake Country Rotary Splash Pad

Address: 339 Maple Ave, Hartland, WI 53029, USA

Amusement park Park

“Fantastic spot for kids! Restrooms nearby. Wheelchair accessible. Close to downtown. There are some wonderful playgrounds surrounding it, a small stage, tennis courts, and a little pond. There are many tables and seats with plenty of shade. I do wish it opened earlier but its still great. There are also multiple restrooms on site. Best part is, the men's room has a changing station!”

Homestead Park

Address: 560 Big Bend Way, Hartford, WI 53027, USA

Park

Patrons Park

Address: Walnut St, West Bend, WI 53095, USA

East Bluff State Natural Area

Address: Pvt Interior Rd, Merrimac, WI 53561, USA

Park

“Usually hike Devils Lake area a dozen times or more a year in preparation for climbing in Colorado. Pretty decent ascents up the East and West bluffs with some bouldering should you want to take a more direct route up. Beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area, especially in the fall when the colors are changing. Make sure you get a park pass if you plan on parking at the Iceage trail parking lots on the perimeter of the park because you will get a $50 dollar ticket.”

Candy Cane Park

Address: 526 E Lincoln Ave, Hartford, WI 53027, USA

Park

“The City Of Hartford takes great pride in the upkeep of their parks. This is one of the smaller playgrounds in town for kids or familes with small children too play at, and it is in a safe, quiet neighborhood where people can relax on a nice summer day. They have a couple swings, and some smaller slides and things, on a small corner lot in the middle of Hartford. The park is clean, and has trash receptacles and is well kept up with by the city as said before.”

Mapleway Park

Address: Maple Ave, Sussex, WI 53089, USA

Park

“It's your typical park. Nothing too fancy, nothing lacking, just a playground, swing set, neat spider climb net, and a seesaw. There is a porta-potty you can use, and picinic benches to rest on. The park is right by a trail and a railroad track. You cannot acces the park directly from Maple Avenue, so if you go to this park use the road just past it before the tracks (Donna Lane I believe) and then take the first right, which should wind you up at the parks entrance. Overall, it's a decent park, great for all ages, and a nice hang-out spot. Would recommend.”

Sky High Camping Resort

Address: N5740 Sky High Dr, Portage, WI 53901, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“Our favorite family campground. We camped here last year and just camped there last weekend. Everyone is very friendly. Nice pool. Mini golf. Activities for the kids. Pet friendly. Beautiful views.”

Lewis Nine Springs E-way

Address: 1949 Moorland Rd, Madison, WI 53711, USA

Park

“My favorite spot:) Not many people know about this spot. It’s definitely a hidden gem. I have seen tons of wildlife here, especially birds! If you’re a birder, this is the best spot for shorebirds and sandhill cranes. Go in the morning or evening to see the beautiful sunset or sunrise. The colors over the water are incredible.”

Sunset Park

Address: 401 3rd Ave, Monroe, WI 53566, USA

Park

Warner Park Beach

Address: 1101 Woodward Dr, Madison, WI 53704, USA

Park

“They've updated this building nicely. There's even an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. I have to say that the views are nice along this waterway area, including from the beach, but the water in Lake Mendota is always gross and mucky along the shores. For those reasons, I only go here to sit and look out; I don't go in the water anymore but many other people still do so I guess you'll have to make that decision for yourself.”

Kessler Railroad Prairie State Natural Area

Address: Janesville, WI 53548, USA

Park

“Wish people would pick up after themselves. Bottles, cans and empty shells.”

River Valley Park

Address: 2300 Kellogg Ave, Janesville, WI 53546, USA

Park

Falcon View Park

Address: 1110 W Sunset Ln, Greenfield, WI 53228, USA

“Always enjoy coming here. But one of the nine things is that it's quiet and no one's there.... So keep it that way lol just kidding. The more the merrier”

Brickson Park

Address: Pewaukee Rd, Waukesha, WI 53188, USA

Park

Antler Adventures

Address: 891 Alexander Rd, Roberts, WI 54023, USA

Park

“Wow! What a great experience! I've never hunted deer on a game farm (have hunted hogs) but it was great! Emma and Kyle were wonderful people to have working with me! I learned so much about the farm and deer in general. You can tell they take great care of their deer at this facility. The lodge was amazing as well! Emma is a wonderful cook and is very good at being sensitive to dietary needs. There are so many ridiculously big bucks at antler adventures and they take great videos of your hunt as well as pictures of you and your harvest. Highly recommend!”

Waubedonia Park

Address: W1155 Fredonia Ave, Fredonia, WI 53021, USA

“Absolutely beautiful. It's a nice quiet park with only a fisherman or two dotted along the river. There are small groupings of picnic tables/grills. There are also a couple playgrounds, good bathrooms and party areas, and some camping spots right along the river.”

Sauk County Fairgrounds

Address: 700 Washington Ave, Baraboo, WI 53913, USA

Just a great time was had by all.lets do it again soon.. So”

“Thanks for keeping up the park. It’s wonderful to enjoy the nice beach on a hot summer day.”

Natural Bridge State Park

Address: E7792 Co Rd PF, North Freedom, WI 53951, USA

Park

“Such a cool spot with overlooked or under appreciated history! The hike to bridge maybe takes 10 minutes, slight uphill climb but super manageable for most people! The rock formation is super impressive. It’s a amount of cluster of outcrops and small bluffs, and the main loop takes you by most of them in the small valley. Indigenous peoples inhabited the area some 10,000 years ago and continued to for thousands of years! Just one hour from Madison, another amazing Wisconsin hike!!”
