“Beautiful place, good for hunting or just taking a nice walk in the woods. Lots of trees but still plenty of sunshine peeking through, and my kids especially enjoyed their time on a "hike". We'll definitely wear hats next time though, in hopes to keep some of the ticks off of our heads. I think we picked off about 13 ticks between 4 of us. But it is the woods and we'll be back again!”

“Very pretty lights! Brought our dogs, they enjoyed it from the back seats and windows down. It gets crazy busy, so be prepared to wait 25 mins to even get in (tip: buy the express pass online) and then it's very slow moving bumper to bumper for about 20 mins. We donated toys at the end and waved to Santa. :)”

“What a hidden gem! Took kids to the skating rink. We were the only ones there, on a Saturday morning, and enjoyed the awesome rink and were impressed by the warming house at a small, neighborhood park! We will definitely return!”

“The wings here are so good. I brought some friends up to the lake house and told them you got to try them. It's nothing like back home (Chicago area). They are deep fried but you dip them in your choice of sauce or sauces if you want to. So good! I was worried I over sold them, but everyone agreed they were great. Staff and owners are friendly and the deck overlooking the lake is nice in the summer, specially when they have live entertainment.”

“Jaycee Park is spacious with plenty of things to do. Sand volleyball, great play area for the kids, a reservable pavilion with power, flush bathrooms, and an open grass area for sports. Plenty of trees for shade as well. It's in a generally quiet neighborhood and away from major highways although the street to the north can see some traffic.”

Not many cars cars venture past this point in the midnight hours.. and during moonless skies galaxies and nebulas can be viewed. ** No bathrooms or trash containers!!!”
