“Small parking lot to access Mud Lake. Lots of small pike in the lake, and good opportunities for bird watching. Would recommend only trying to launch in a canoe or kayak...the launch path is very shallow.”

“I volunteered at a Bioblitz at Riverview Pointe Preserve with Selby Botanical Gardens. This small preserve connects to Desoto National Memorial land nearby, including a shared trail system. Blink and you’ll miss this preserve, which is basically a small parking lot off the road. But we discovered healthy biodiversity and some very beautiful plants that are unusual to find in the area. Seems like a great place to take a daily constitutional (walk).”

“Great place to be year round, but this review must be prefaced by the fact that its $5 to park per vehicle. They take cash and credit. This park is huge, with flat fields for sports, woods and trails for hiking and running, sites for both camping and picnics. There is plenty of parking regardless of the activity. Throughout the year many events are hosted here, including road races in the winter. There are both primitive and modern facilities for restrooms and drinking water throughout the park. It's great to have a park like this so close to home.”

“We went for a Winnebeergo event and it was a blast! My son played on the play ground equipment while my wife and I relaxed and enjoyed a WI summer evening. So cool that Pewaukee has events like this at the parks! Can't wait for the next one.”

“Beautiful park, but with road construction it would have been nice to have signs telling you how to get to the parking lot and actual park.”

“I really enjoy carver park. In the summer this is where the kickball league plays and helps give the park some life. Not only is the action competitive and fun to watch for friends and family of all ages BUT food truck vendors also come out to feed the crowd. This is just one of the amenities that the park brings. The baseball diamonds, well maintained dugouts or playground area for the children are also noteworthy.”

“Most Parks in Milwaukee are awesome, exciting, renovated, and fun to be at. I enjoy Kilbourn Reservoir Park because of the location and size. Not too big, yet not too small. Milwaukee parks always have some beauty, natural appeal, or event that seems to always seems to bring good people together.”

“Very large open field right up the street from the river where people can often be found playing fetch with their dogs. The property is maintained by the city but it is not a formal dog park. There are no benches, waste baskets or waste bag dispensers on the grounds so be certain to arrive prepared. The area is also completely open so if your dog is not great off leash this may not be the place for you. If your pet is well behaved and you need to burn off energy this is a great place to get in some very long throws to tired them out in a few minutes. The area is also used during the annual Riverwest 24 hour biking event where people will set up a few tents to camp for the night and cheer people on.”

“Nice area to view the milwaukee skyline. Plenty of open area for recreational activities and walking trails. Plenty to explore!”

“The Milwaukee area has some wonderful and beautiful parks that can provide you an ample scenery of green and lush surroundings. And in the area of East side, this park provide you one of the best views of downtown Milwaukee that you would ever imagine. This scenic view spans all of the large structures of downtown and one eye sweep, and the lakefront just adjacent. There is a walking area parking area and appears some seating area. I myself have never taken a stop at the park, but I have enjoyed the view many of times. The curve driving around this part can be dangerous. So when weather conditions are present, take caution when you are enjoying this area.”
