“Dan Jansen Park seems to be popular with families in the area. Apartments are nearby. Everything looks maintained. Children should love the brightly painted play set and climbing walls. “The New Berlin Soap Box Derby runs annually, the Sunday after Labor Day. It is a day long event, starting at 7 am and finishing at 5 pm. Generally, the weather is accommodating. The Derby is run by an all-volunteer crew working year round, for the benefit of New Berlin's youth. It's an amazing organization.”

“Really nice pathway, wide sidewalk (perfect for wheelchair or aide scooter and lots of benches to sit and look out at the lake, also tons of off beat paths (very cool) and if you keep walking you'll pass a pond with people of all ages are fishing and beyond the pond is the water park.
