“Good school. The front parking is a big issue with people stopping their cars in line while traffic backs up. Ignorance. They could use some trash/recycling bins in the front and sides for the kids that litter! Update: Now, I give it 5 stars. With the new principal, things are getting done finally. The NEW parking/pick up arrangement has been fantastic! I see new garbage cans. I do propose more garbage cans, especially in the front of the school. I also propose more benches. Especially by the playground so parents can sit.”

“This is a great school system, I can safely and happily recommend this school for any parents wondering if this school is the right one. The teachers are great, it JUST expanded, has its own special Ed department and home education classes are almost always filled. So not only would your child be learning about every day math science and so on, they can learn how to sew, cook and even go ice fishing during the winter for a class. New principle, new additions and expansions to the entire school. Good food, big library. Technology is also fluent as every student gets there own Chromebook given by the school. Kids are good enough too, not many druggies in this area, barely any bullying either. So al in all, compared to the surrounding schools. This is the right choice for you and your child”

“My children have been enrolled at Heartland for the last three years. I can't imagine a better place for them to have learned and grown both academically and socially. Through their Montessori education they have developed independence, confidence and academic curiosity. The school is small enough that there are numerous opportunities to get involved in the school community and see how Montessori education truly helps develop the whole child. Heartland has served the community for 20 years and though it has gone through changes and transitions over the years, it is an amazing place for children and their families. There is simply no other place like it, especially for 3-6 year olds. The Children's House Guide is terrific at motivating and inspiring, and the classroom assistant is bright, intuitive, and loves every child like family.
