“I can join the ranks of GLOWING reviews. When we walked in, Marta was SUPER friendly. She and Dawn were both extremely helpful, and patient with my crew (the shop is not large, and I walked in with two teens and a kid). My teenaged baker child was in HEAVEN. The prices were extremely reasonable, and she ended up with quite an eclectic pile by the time we checked out (flavoring, a silicone mold, cake rounds, cookie cutters....but my favorite find was a rubber scraper that had been created especially to scrape off whisks). It was super simple to sign my teen up for one of the classes Dawn offers, and we are excited to head back and take that in a few weeks! UPDATE: My kiddo took the Modern Techniques cake decorating class today, with a friend. Elise was SO great, and the cakes turned out beautifully! All materials were provided, and my daughter came home with five 5” cakes, each in its own box for transport. She learned mirror glaze, striped frosting, drippy glaze, Russian tips, palette knife flowers, and fault line techniques (along with basic crumb coat and frosting techniques). Just couldn’t be happier! Update 2: Chocolate 101 is in the books. 4 hours of tempering instruction and truffle filling. My daughter brought home 3 dozen professional looking truffles and they look (and smell) amazing! Thank you, Dawn! Love the teeny class sizes and professional results. My daughter loves how friendly every single employee is.”

“I ordered a cake and cupcakes here for my daughter's gender reveal party! They were so cute and exactly how I wanted them. The cake was the highlight of the party and revealed the color pink for a girl. I really respect the fact that when I called to double check and make sure the color was right the day of the party, they told me it was illegal to tell me over the phone 😂 I was the gender keeper so I thought it was really great they wanted to help keep the secret. I've stopped in on many occasions to get treats here and there, but finally ordered myself a cake for my birthday this year in March. “Incredible customer service, from start to finish! I ordered pie pops for my best friend who had a baby on 3/14. The obvious celebratory treat for a pi baby is baby pies - I found Cottage Pastries through a google search and spoke with Mauricio. We texted about the order and delivery and I received photos of the adorable pie pops the evening before delivery, including of the card and the new awesome design Renata made on the pies. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to taste the pops because I'm in California, but the report back to me was that they were absolutely fantastic. “Beautiful cake for my mothers birthday! Owner was willing to make the cake on a short notice. I sent pictures of what I was looking for and she did nice job at replicating what I wanted. The cake was delicious! I was only surprised to find out it was an at home business and not a store front. That doesn’t bother me at all but others may want to know to expect that. Also having a sign outside would help to find the house easier. I have an at home business as well so I go through this with customers too. Overall I recommend her cakes :)”
