“I am feeling the diabetes creep on to me because of this place… and I am welcoming it. Soft, sweet, freshly baked... what more can you ask for? Not like your over priced fancy cookies that are pretty but tasteless and heartless like a Kardashian or Miss’s Fields Cookies. These are full of flavor, round, crave killing like Beyonce or Lizzo or cookies ya grandma made! Well my grandma is filipino and made other desserts, but you get my point. Like a love hate relationship.. so good but so bad for you. Crumbles in such a beautiful way, like those AMSR videos on youtube where they crush crunchy things with sparkles in them. I don’t think I need to go any further, go buy them!! You won’t be disappointed. (Would have taken more photos, but I morphed into cookie monster and they were gone in a second)”

“Had a really pleasant experience at Verrill Farm this weekend! We went for the sunflowers. The field was well-maintained, and the there were tons of blooms of multiple types. Was pleasantly surprised to learn that we were able to cut 5 stems each. Parking was easy, and in general it was not crowded there. The produce and deli market inside was well-stocked with local products (fruits, veggies, honey, snacks, etc.). I would highly recommend them over some of the "bigger" places in eastern MA for sunflowers, and we look forward to returning here in future years! New favorite spot!”

“We are so glad we went with The Phoenix for our wedding cake. Magi was amazing and easy to work with. We had 5 different flavors of cake and it was a huge hit — so many guests went back for seconds to try another flavor and we received so many rave reviews!! We had fun trying different cupcake flavors and we were grateful the bakery had cake stands for rent and local delivery available. Overall, a really enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!”

“What a great little bakery! We came in for breakfast burritos but discovered they also do breakfast bowls and they didn't disappoint at all. There are a few small seating areas inside that were great for my wife and me as well as the outdoor tables and chairs. As we sat and ate, the flow of traffic was consistent from both pre-orders and those ordering from the counter. They have a great variety of bakery items (see pictures) including a good gluten free menu. The gluten-free lemon blueberry scone was SO GOOD! If you're a fan of Topeca coffee, this is a place for you as well. I signed up for their rewards program (which was as simple as providing my phone number) and will definitely return. See you again in the future!”

“Of all the gourmet cookie places that I have been to this is THE place.The Cookie Jar makes the best tasting cookie hands down. We visited it today and were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and esthetic that the store is inside. The cookies were perfectly shaped. They were cooked and seasoned to perfection and the proprietor was there to kindly greet us. The cookies were $8.00 for three huge cookies. I bought a wonderful strawberry cheesecake cookie, a chocolate chip cookie and a pecan cookie. I hope that they are able to open other stores soon. And that people come from far and wide to buy those beautiful cookies!”

“Very small bakery inside Hmart, but the owner is so sweet and friendly. I was told by the owner that you can order your cake a day before the event! Not many places will do that, so I know I will definitely remember this :) I love their sweet potato cake! It's not very sweet yet sweet enough to want another bite of it. Though I have never personally prepared a cruller, apparently they are hard to master. You must get the edges crispy While leaving the inside light and fluffy. There is also a sugar factor, too much sugar, blah not enough sugar , meh. And I don’t know what the difference is but they can sometimes turn out really greasy which is not good In a donut ha ha.
