I noticed the people who left bad reviews only write bad reviews for any reviews they have ever made … anyways we love shopping here for our bulk items … although I took 1 star off because they stopped selling our Green mountain Nantucket blend Coffee . That was one of the main things we shopped here for and now that there isn’t coffee or infant Baby formula today or membership is mainly used for gas … but now Kroger’s is beating there prices for gas some days …. Oh well ….”

“My friend and I finally came here after his persistence of a place with the best cinnamon rolls anywhere, ever. He is 100% right. The cinnamon rolls, and the brown butter banana nut muffins, are worth the trip no matter where you live in the area or if you’re just visiting. Their iced chai latte with oat milk is also good to go. The only thing I wish is that I came here sooner!”

“Had a break between baseball games at Skip Wilson Field so we decided to try Zakes based on proximity and Google reviews. I called ahead and even on a Sunday midmorning they were able to seat us right away. The restaurant is in a converted stone house so there is a unique charm to the surroundings. We were seated on the enclosed porch which was nice, I prefer to eat outside but this was fine. After sitting for a few minutes our drink order was taken then shortly after our waitress took our order. Their menu is what you expect for a breakfast and lunch place. There were at least a half dozen items I would have liked to try but settled on the honey and lemon pancakes with raspberries. WOW these were good! Not only were they good but it was just a few minutes after ordering that the food came out. The staff was very friendly and attentive to the customers. Prices were reasonable for what you got, I look forward to eating there again. Additionally, they use paper straws not plastic, THANK YOU!”

“My family tried La Ideal for the first time today and everything was excellent! The employees were so sweet and didn't laugh at us when we practiced our Spanish. My kiddos got basic nachos which is nothing exciting ingredient-wise but the ground beef was very flavorful and delicious. I had a Pastor torta and it was so good. My husband had a variety of street tacos and enjoyed them all. We had to try a few of the yummy desserts and were very pleased with those as well. The Tres leches cake was fantastic. I wish I had taken more pictures to share.”

It’s a combination of coffee shop, art gallery, furniture gallery, architecture studio… The number of different chairs and couches you can sit in is other worldly. As for the coffee. The single origin, honey-processed Guatemalan I had was tangy, fruit forward (not sour), sweet, and a fun flavor to experience. Prices are below hipster coffee shops in other areas I’ve visited too. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and a welcoming environment - This place is a Diamond in the rough!”

“I reached out to Deerfields bakery for my wedding cake this past June and I am SO GLAD I did! Deerfields bakery was great with communication & quick to respond to all my emails. I went in for a tasting (which was amazing!) and we loved the buttercream with raspberry mousse and raspberry filling. We received SO many compliments on how delicious and beautiful the cake was, our guests raved on and on, I was hearing about the cake for weeks following the wedding. Many said it was the best cake they have ever had at a wedding! They did a fabulous job and their products speak for themselves- delicious!”

“Valerie, the shop owner is amazing. I walked into this bakery for the first time on a Thursday afternoon, right before closing time, to have all my last minute needs met. She even suggested a better pick up time so my baked goods could be as fresh as possible. She even text me to give me and update and a friendly reminder about my order. While I was there I tried her strawberry cheesecake and it was to die for!!! You have to stop by the next time your in town and try this amazing bakery!”
