I told the theme and Elizabeth worked her magic, making perfect cookies for the theme! Our entire family was amazed at the artwork and detail, and the cookies tasted absolutely wonderful. I am a New Yorker (Brooklyn) who grew up on street vendors and corner bodegas where Salim knew your name, your order and the name of your current girlfriend. I missed that when I moved to Katy, then I found Snowflake and Boran. Boran runs the shop. He is a Cambodian Sam from Cheers. I used to feel I was special until I found (to my chagrin) that with Boran everyone is special and deserving of a smile and conversation with their coffee and kolache. Snowflake is my corner bodega - I highly recommend you check it out.”
