“A small bike shop off of Hwy 10 that carries Specialized bikes and services bikes as well. Came in for a tube change and a brake service. Shahiro immediately greeted me and helped me with both the services while I waited. The prices were very reasonable, paid $12 for tube and labor and $8/brake. I came in later the same day for a seat post clamp for my bike and Bruce (the owner?) had one in stock and I was able to purchase it for under $10. He was knowledgeable and helpful without being condescending. Will return!”

“Emily and Jeremy were so easy to work with! They are incredibly nice and helpful when my husband was looking into purchasing his first adult bike. They took the time to find the right bike for him. The bike he wanted in the color and size was not at that location but we ordered it on Tuesday and it was delivered and ready by Friday.”

“🎊🎊🎊I have to say that I was very worried about purchasing a bike this time because I have been suffering with some bad health problems that have me moving slowly. I can say that the salesmen were all so patient with me. They helped me to pick the best bike to provide easy access. Helped me get on and waited until I was able to mentally convince myself of how to get off. I picked my bike up today and they went over every thing. Cesar, Max and another kind fella(sorry his named escapes me) gave me back my confidence. This is a great place of business. I will ride that bright orange bicycle in representation of everyone suffering with multiple sclerosis. I love this place. 👏🏾👏🏾 so many bikes to choose from.”

“I needed to purchase two Velocity rims for a bike build that I am making for my son's birthday. It appeared that they were in stock at ProWheelBuilder, so I went ahead and ordered them. After two weeks with no shipping confirmation, I sent them an email asking if my rims had been sent. Debra, perhaps their shipping manager emailed me back and told me they were not in stock but expected the next week. Two weeks later, with still no shipping confirmation, I tried to call them to find that no one answers the phone (now yellow caution lights are blinking in my mind), but I left a message. Eventually, Debra got back in contact with me by email and returned my card. They are a reputable business, but they need a little bit of work when it comes to customer relations and answering their phones.”

“My bike looks amazing thanks to Jeff!! This shop is packed (in a very orderly way) with anything you could possibly need for your bicycle. The turn around time for my repairs was quick, and the work is well done. Even though the new bikes for sale are high end, I wasn't made to feel "less than" because I brought in a lower end cruiser. I also bought a fantastic used bike for a really great deal. I highly recommend this shop!”

“good prices, good service and nice people . I've had several pricey bikes fixed at AYJ & they always do good work, their prices are really good and it's one of the best bike shops I found. Ramerio knows bikes , he's honest and a nice guy . I drive from Long Beach to this bike shop near downtown LA, passing countless others because it's the best prices and Ramiero does good work.”

“Visited here to get a bike and Jay helped answer all my questions - the customer service was top notch. I test rode three bikes and was able to determine what type of bike I should go with and what worked best for my preferences. He suited up my bike with lights, helped me set the lock, and helped me to pick what basket would be best. I would recommend anyone who is looking for any type of sport gear to go here!”

“Great customer service. I spoke with 3 different employees about my new bike being delivered there by Specialized and they were all very attentive and answered my questions. The mechanic John even helped load up my new bike. Also had some coffee and pastries there with my wife. Good place and vibe. I Will definitely be doing my cycling purchases and service with them.”

“A very neatly organized place. I felt very comfortable while walking in the isles. Not much populated as the store is located at the outskirt of the Sweetwater city. There are ample parkings. The only reason of not giving the five star rating is the customer service. The check out person kept looking at her mobile without paying attention.”

“Prior to making the decision to purchase my Trek Domane AL 5 Disc - 2022, I researched extensively for a quality Bay Area cycling shop. Without hesitation, Chain Reaction won me over from beginning to end. There’s a reason why their Yelp reviews are above 5 stars - the moment you walk in the shop, the experience begins. I was immediately greeted with, “Hello Sir, someone will help you in just a minute” (staff members were helping other customers when I arrived). Honestly, within 2 minutes, Becky greeted me with a hello and a smile. I briefly described what I was interested in purchasing, not only did Becky listen to my long winded list of wants vs needs, she remained patient and attentive with me….that’s a 10 in my book! Fast forward - am I happy with my overall experience with Chain Reaction, ABSOLUTELY! A friendly family owed & operated cycling shop that goes above and beyond to make your visit spectacular. Note: I live in the South Bay (there are a host of other shops in my area) however, know one comes close to Chain Reaction’s quality and knowledge. A customer for life!”

“Great, smooth experience with Al’s. Was able to drop off my bike and pick it up for a tuneup within a reasonable amount of time (it’s busy season for them). I plan to come back for any and all future bicycle needs. Very fair pricing too!”

“I went with my son and granddaughter to look at a new bike for her. There was a tent sale going on. We pulled up in the parking lot next door in a pouring rain where we could see the bikes from the car. My granddaughter immediately stood up in the car. She saw the one she wanted from the distance after my son took her to 9 other stores before I told him that I had seen the tent sale the day before. We proceeded to run into the store. My son rolled the bike from the tent into the store because on the pouring rain. The look on her face was priceless. We bought the bike. Got great friendly service, and got the bike for a great price!”

“Awesome bike shop. We've gotten tune-ups, had them build bikes purchased online and recently bought a beautiful mountain bike for my daughter. Couldn't be happier. Great selection of bikes and gear. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are also reasonable and competitive. 😄”

“I am a beginner biker and wasn't sure what kind or size of bike I should get. Joe and Bert were super knowledgeable and helped me find the bike that fits me perfectly. They didn't have the color I wanted in stock in the shop, but they placed an order immediately and the bike arrives within 3 days. They also helped me assemble the bike and check that all the parts are ok. Everything is smooth and easy for me, definitely recommend!”

“Stopped here during a bike ride on the trail. We had a delicious lunch! It is the most adorable place and we sat outside in the shade on the side patio. It was so relaxing and enjoyable! Definitely recommend even if you just drive there. But just wanted to point out that it is right on along the Butler/Freeport trail if you happen to be walking or biking.”

“I had such an amazing experience with Jax Bicycle Center due to the exemplary customer service I received from the manager Octavio (OC). He was extremely professional as well as the staff. My partner brought in her cruiser bike and it was beat up pretty badly, and they transformed her bike into nearly a new bicycle. Initially, the bike was restored with many new parts and looked for the most part new. The only thing that I was not satisfied with was the rust on the front tire. I took it back to Jax Bicycle Center and explained the issue to the manager Octavio and he replaced the front wheel free of charge due to my dissatisfaction. Due to his above and beyond customer service I will always refer people to his bike shop. Thank you so much again for making my partner happy with repairing her bike! You have no idea how happy we both are that we can finally ride bikes together!”
