“This man is amazing. I have a 1989 Schwinn Roadbike I bought in NorCal in 2010 as an undergrad and adore my bike. After being run over by a car in 2017 , my front wheel, fork, handle bar, pedals and chain ring were unusable. While all other bike shops told me to give up on my beloved bike, Moises said it would be no problem and brought my bicycle back to life. He understood the bike is special to me and replaced all the damaged components with era equivalent pieces and to this day takes extremely good care of my bike. In order to accommodate for an electric wheel I added to my bicycle, he ensured that I have a steel fork strong enough for the torque. Bring your bike here. It is a small business and might lack a website or even proper recording of bike prices but Moises has been in the area for decades and works for the people of the neighborhood. Any gentrifiers that distrust him should know that they are the reason he had to move from Echo Park and should give Moises a chance as oppose to criticizing him. “Incredible service and AMAZING prices. The shop is decorated with bycicle pieces and piles of tubes as a diverse set of tires hang from the cieling. Many durable and reasonably bikes for sale as well! My experiences here have always been positive. There is no replacing this place! Last month I tried a different shop and was astonished to find they wanted to charge me $80 to look at my bike without including the pieces needing replacing or. I took it over to DC, and they charged me $25, including the pieces! Whereas the other place wanted to wait a whole week until they could even look at my bike, DC was super fast, friendly, and knowledgeable on all things bike related. Definitely take your bike here if you need a quick fix!”

“Because I am older, I no longer maintain my own bike. But I still ride a good deal. Connor, the owner, replaced w worn back tire for me, installed it on the bike, adjusted the breaks and put it back in my SUV. The personal service and polite, friendly attitude made the experience enjoyable. Connor was out ill for a few days, so his service was not available as stated on their signage. That is easy to correct, as is the answering machine recording. Overall however it is a good place to have bikes fixed and serviced. I would use them again.”

“6 years ago I gave PlayTri a 5 star rating but it was under a different management then. So 6 years later with Hugo in charge I have just had several significant repairs needed for my high end bike. I must say it was very expensive but between Ariel's (the mechanic) and Hugo's explanations and patience with me I had them do all they said I needed. I just want to say I was very impressed how they handled this 'anxious' customer. I have been dropping into the store from time to time for quick tire changes and they have treated me great each time and with efficiency. This is the only place I will be using to take care of me and my bike from now on. I am only a road cyclist but road or triathlon or gravel - this is the place to go. You won't be disappointed and you will be treated fairly.”
