“Stopped in for some brunch and enjoyed a crepe and a bagel. I do have two complaints so read through the end. First up, we had the NM Ham Melt. This was a homemade crepe filled with thin sliced ham, diced green chile and cheddar. The Chile was hot and flavorful! Next up, I had the Burrow Bagel. This bagel was just exploding with flavor and really well done. It had pesto cream cheese, shredded spinach, sliced tomatoes, cracked pepper, salt and olive oil drizzle. The coffee was good and the other items on the menu sounded great as well. It did take awhile to get our food so I don’t recommend if you’re in a hurry. But if you’re just having a relaxing morning or maybe on a date, this is a great spot for breakfast or brunch. Also, my side of fruit that I ordered with my bagel was $5 and literally about 2 teaspoons of (possibly canned) pineapple pieces and 2 small half orange slices. You can see it for yourself on the photo with the bagel. It’s the small plastic container on top of my plate, next to the spoon. This was pretty upsetting but the rest of the food and coffee was good so it didn’t damper the experience. I did feel a bit ripped off though.”

The Center offers drop in meditation classes, day courses, and longer meditation retreats. The teachers are very down to earth and accessible. There is something for everyone and it’s well worth a visit. The world needs more spiritual places like KMC Florida. It’s a beacon for world peace.”

“My office orders tortas for lunch for everyone from this place quite frequently. Today, I decided to order the Turkey sandwich and soup combo for lunch and they both exceeded my expectations. One of my coworkers warned me that the tortilla soup wasn't chicken tortilla soup so, I was a little weary, but the taste made up for the lack of chicken. The broth was perfectly seasoned, there is a good mix of vegetables and the cilantro helped gave it a very nice flavor. I got the Turkey sandwich on toasted sourdough bread with provolone cheese and it was very good. They use cucumber in their sandwiches, which isn't common, but it should be because it really kicks up the freshness factor! One of my coworkers goes there for lunch frequently and asked me to pick him up a chamango. I didn't try it but I'm sure I will soon, because it looked very good and large enough to be a meal on it's own.”

“We walked in early Saturday evening about 45 min before they close. We had just been next door at Frasher's Smokehouse & after the food was delivered to our table, a few bites taken, we walked out. If you want to know why you'll have to read my review for Frasher's. I had eaten breakfast at one of the d'Lite locations years ago & remember it being good. We were hungry & even though my sister was nervous about the "Healthy" term in their title, I convinced her to give it a try. The place was empty, it took a minute before the employees noticed someone walked in the door - but that was fine as it gave us time to look through their rather extensive menu. Point of note, "healthy" doesn't mean tofu, sprouts, vegan stuff so don't let the name deter you from trying d'Lite. Healthy also means organic & locally grown foods, in addition to recycling. We had a good laugh with the young lady behind the counter, telling her how bad Frasher's was & why we were now at d'Lite. She was extremely polite, happy, and carried on a conversation with us. We ordered the Croissant 'Wich and Turkey Avocado Club, along with their detox juice. When I exclaimed happily "they recycle", that gal mentioned the owners are into not destroying Mother Earth ... then she hands us plastic straws. So now I say to the owners, banish the straws. :-) The food came out hot and both sandwiches were very good. The detox juice was from a Tempe company; it was made w/ pineapple, apple, spinach, and kale - heavy on the pineapple. From a non-spinach or kale loving person, it was also tasty. All in all, I would totally visit d'Lite again.”

“I have lived in Santa Clara California for 18 years since I married an American, before I lived in Kauai where I learned to appreciate Japanese culture and food. That's why whenever I can I choose start with edamame, miso soup, then sushi, sashimi, tempura, salmon or a classic bento box . Many weekends we go to different areas of the bay, Capitola is one of my favorites, especially in summer. We go to this restaurant for dinner, the atmosphere is incredible. They have many tables inside a very spacious room, there are always nice people, I love the decoration the quality of the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable . They have vegetarian options and a good tea selection. The staff is friendly, professional the service is fast. I highly recommend this place for a fun moment with great food.”

“The Caribou Coffee in the Hy-Vee on 178th St. is a fantastic coffee shop. I am surprised there are not more of them in Omaha. They are popular in northern states but are not as common in Nebraska. Caribou is an awesome place to order coffee because they are 100% “clean label,” sell fantastic coffee beans, and create the most delicious drinks. Everything on Caribou’s menu is “clean label.” They do not use any artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, or preservatives in their drinks and food. And it is certainly noticeable, especially in their caramel and chocolate drinks. They only use real caramel that tastes like fresh, homemade caramel you would find at a local fall festival. Also, they use real chocolate chips for their hot mochas, not powder. The result is a smooth, unified beverage that tastes like a candy bar in a cup. They home-make their whipped cream, too! If you are not interested in the “fou fou” coffee beverages, you should try some of their blends and premium single-origin coffees. Blends like Mocha Java, Mahogany, and Caribou Blend are expertly roasted, and single origins like their Columbia are fantastic. Currently, they are selling their La Minita Peaberry, a premium single-origin coffee they release once a year. So, snag a bag before they sell out! Also, all of Caribou’s beans are Rainforest Alliance Certified, so you can feel good about every bag of beans you buy. A special drink unique to Caribou Coffee is their crafted press, which the baristas can make hot, iced, or blended. It is a blend of their cold brew (which they call cold press), a dairy base (or nondairy), and a salt and sugar mixture all frothed together to create a creamy, delicious drink. Add a flavor like caramel or dark chocolate, and you won’t be sorry. Spike it with a shot of espresso, and you sure as hell won’t be sorry! The baristas are also so kind and are willing to customize any drink for you. Feel intimidated by all the choices? Don’t be! Don’t want a drink too sweet? Don’t worry! Just ask the baristas to craft something special, and you won’t regret it.”

“Stopped by unplanned on a Sunday morning for a quick drink before having breakfast. Two young ladies immediately greeted me upon walking in and asked me if I had any questions. There was a nice choice of hot and cold coffees, teas, and a hot chocolate. There were also a few different pastry items at the counter. Ordered the Mexican Chocolate and Pink Beet Latte. Both drinks were ready within 5 minutes. There wasn't a crowd, so was able to pick from the different sitting areas. There was a living room area with couches and a rocking chair, standard dining tables, and bar height tables. It was a very relaxing atmosphere to sit and enjoy the drink in peace. Both drinks were great. I was hesitant about the Pink Beet Latte, but the beets weren't overwhelming and went well with the ginger and honey. The Mexican Chocolate had a nice mix of seasonings to go along with the milk and Mexican Chocolate. Nice place to come and enjoy some coffee, tea, or other warm drinks.”
