And the biggest bonus of all is that they have a fully operational garage for upgrades, tune ups etc, I don’t have allot to be done. But it’s going to be nice once. my son paints her, we remodel the inside and have the garage make sure she’s good as a brand new one. Gosh what a dream come true for me! “After waiting a few months to get scheduled for machine work in Corpus Christi I was referred by a friend to Ramirez Machine Shop in Alice. After a quick phone call I dropped my 79’ Jeep CJ5 4.2 liter engine off at his shop the next day (Tuesday). I had the entire engine and head machined, rebuilt, put back together and primed from the oil pan to the valve cover by the following week (Thursday). Rod was very knowledgeable and professional and kept me in the loop on all the issues and parts, etc while he was working on it. Super reasonable price for the whole job as well! Once I painted and installed the engine it fired right up and has been running great. I highly recommend Ramirez Machine shop for any engine or head work and will definitely use him for my next engine build...”
