“Hi I have called several times to just get the proof for a stone ordered in September 22, 2018 we purchased a stone cash and have yet to receive the proof. Was promised by the anniversary of my dear mother's death date Dec 3. Still do not have any details yet lots of messages. They Never return calls. ????♀️ the contract says 21 days after paid in full signed 9/22/2018 we knew it may take a little longer but geez it's November 26, 2018 still no proff emailed as promised and nobody knows anything. I will update you When they decide to call me back. ???????? praying it will be this year. Update : 12/12/2018 I did get a call from John the General manager he responded to my message and had someone really nice called me back , all they need was a paper signed. On Dec 12th they email the document I got the signature next day back to them and they offer to place my order quickly and offered a nice keepsake magnetic Marker they apoligized for the delay . My sister went to my moms grave this morning on Christmas Eve Dec 24th already the stone was installed . She sent me pictures. I was so happy had to post a new review. So from the Dec 12th date When I got a call From Michelle and John at Lincoln on Dec 21, 2018a nice marker was delivered to my Home. 12/24/2018. I am so impressed with how quickly, not only kept their word they promised the stone by Christmas and it was received by Christmas Eve a day early. ???????? very happy with the service in the end. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas thanks to Michelle and John stepping in and moving things forward. I am impressed with how quickly and professionally they worked on helping me complete this last task in the memory of my dear sweet mother. Thanks to Lincoln Funeral Home the family of Mrs Gladys Faye Henry.”

“Came here to visit a loved one and the outside staff was more than welcoming. There were about three groundskeepers that came to assist me. One helped me with placing the flowers the right way because I didn't know the vases were upside down even offering me a place to sit as it was muddy and wet outside still from the rain. It is very comforting to find that people are concerned with your experience simply just talking and visiting a loved one.”

“I had Galaxy Granite fabricate and install the vanity tops for my bathrooms. The price was more than fair, and the quality of the work was superb! Although there was a slight mixup with the colors, the issue was resolved promptly and professionally. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend this company. I wish I had known about them sooner so that I could have used them for my kitchen countertops also.”

“Historical cemetery and State Historical Marker on Kiest Blvd. between Westmoreland Ave. and Cockrell Hill Road. A small area, with some tress around the edges and a tumble of stones going back to the late-19th century. While upkeep seems indifferent, burials continue at the present time. Gated but not locked, no parking. A sign on the gate warning visitors against practicing Voodoo or Santeria on the grounds hints at a previous event that was probably pretty awesome.”

“This is a small historic Cemetery. You will have to be creative to find a place to park so you can walk to the tombstones.”

“Being a direct descendant of those Swor people buried at Garvin Cemetery, and on behalf of my family, we greatly appreciate the attention and upkeep Garvin Cemetery seems to be getting(as of Feb 2017). We have no idea who is maintaining the cemetery now. However, in the past, due to the lack of family still in the area, we have done our best to donate to various groups that have maintained the cemetery over the years. There have been many years that the cemetery has gone without maintenance, and this saddens and worries us. The threat of development has also cast doubt as to the cemeteries' future, and in which an uncertain future still is exists. In these times of fiscal crisis, looking to the City to take the initiative to protect these old resting places is probably not an option. Until such time, the burden falls upon a caring community to continue respecting the resting place of some of the people who pioneered the great city of Dallas.”

“This is the cemetery I would want to be buried at, if I were to be buried. It’s over 100 years old. Founded by the Kimball family in 1868, this cemetery has a great view of the bay. The area where the Kimball’s are buried along with the Chases, has a great view. There’s a Latino area where they have a statue of the Virgin de Guadalupe. There’s a flag memorial for veterans. I was there for a funeral as were others. Yet I met some folks who were picnicking next to a gravesite. The staff was very helpful with parking and directions. The office staff had lots of history and information. Truly a unique place.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Cactus! Their selection of materials is by far the best in the valley - You’ll find beautiful things there that you won’t find in any other showroom. In particular, we loved working with Betsy! It was the most rewarding experience I’ve had during the process of building our home. She is incredibly detail oriented, savvy, and pleasant. Thanks to Cactus and Betsy, we pulled off our dream kitchen and master bath!”
