“I was given a 3 pg list from Hospice I called Duyck and Van De Hey because the name was familiar. They were very kind on the phone and put my mind at ease. we had some special circumstances in taking my father to NV where he had a plot. Aaron took care of everything for me. Permits,cemetary details in NV, any and all paperwork I would need. He did a wonderful job making my dad look natural and just peacefully sleeping. Everyone working there was kind and comforting. I highly recommend them.”

“I never imagined I would need this type of service. But, I’m thankful for this company. I filled out the online form around midnight and was contacted before 9am the next morning. The staff was professional, efficient, and friendly. I made the choices online before arriving and answered a few more at the time of drop off. I was given options of mementos but not pressured into making additional purchases. Within a few hours my pets ashes were available for pickup. I was pleasantly surprised at pickup of how professional the package was with additional extras. They did make sure to return the blanket I brought my pet in. Overall I’m sad I had to use their services but am happy they were available in my time of need.”

“TL;DR: Valley Pet Loss went above and beyond when I called them because another crematorium forgot my appointment. If you want a professional, respectful, fully witnessed cremation in a clean and organized facility for your fur baby, I would highly recommend this place. On a Friday I knew I had to put my senior pug (Oscar) down, when I scheduled his at-home euthanasia for that Monday morning our vet recommended Valley Pet Loss for his cremation. I didn't listen and instead booked with a company in Tracy, which turned out to be a huge mistake. On Monday we showed up in Tracy with my dog's body in our arms and the company told us they didn't have our appointment on the books and couldn't take us that day. I was DEVASTATED. My best friend had just died and I had no idea what to do next. I called Valley Pet Loss on the way back home and Caroline answered the phone. I was already so upset that when she said they were booked up the next few days I practically hung up on her, and then a miracle happened... 5 minutes later she called back and asked if there was anything they could help with. I explained I was looking for a witnessed cremation as soon as possible that week. She got us scheduled for that Thursday morning and walked me through everything that was included. On Thursday we were able to witness Oscar's cremation from start to finish. The facility is in a light industrial area and the facility is well taken care of, professional, and welcoming. We were able to witness Oscar being placed in the kiln (with an ID tag), waited an hour, saw his remains come out, and even got to see his remains be processed to ash. We then got to walk his ashes to his memorial box and watch as he was placed in it. I know not everyone may not want to witness so much detail, but it was important to us and I'm grateful they allowed us when so many other places don't offer that. We saw how each step of the process was done with so much care and respect. Caroline didn't have to call me back that day but it feels like a miracle that she did. I was terrified I was going to have to drop Oscar's body off at a vet and get his ashes back weeks later. But instead I got to be with him during the last stages of his journey on this earth. I'll be forever grateful that a place like Valley Pet Loss exists. Thank you Caroline, Eric, and Cheryl”

“Buried here is Dack Rambo, television star from the 70s and 80s. Wow! Gorgeous looks! He starred in his own western series in the 70s, and numerous guest appearances in the 80s on other westerns such as Gunsmoke and others. Also he had major roles in several popular soap operas including Dallas and countless guest appearances on such series as Hotel, Murder She Wrote, Love Boat, Fantasy Island, etc. Sadly, he died of AIDS in 1994.”

“When my father passed away in 2018 we didn’t know where to begin. My son-in-law helped me contact Hansen Desert Hills. They had cared for his grandparents. From the first moment everyone was so kind. And arrangements were made easy. Then just this past May my husband passed away unexpectedly. Once again Lesa and everyone at Hansen’s provided caring, respectful and warm guidance. The service and reception was there and the staff helped our family set up a wonderful tribute backdrop for the service. The reception was also wonderful and the caterer easy to work with. They have even arranged counseling and words of encouragement for months now. We have visited the beautiful healing garden many times. Now once again we have had to call upon Hansen. Our mother passed away early early morning of Christmas Eve. The young man who came in the middle of the night to get her was so considerate and gentle. Lesa, Joy and everyone took the time to help us through the holidays. My family has been blessed to have been led to Hansen Desert Hills. We know we will always be able to count on them. They are truly something special that isn’t found very often nowadays. Thank you Hansen”
