“After consuming reformed resources over many years from theologians like Luther, Calvin, Owen, Machen, Sproul, Fesko, Godfrey, etc, I was thrilled to finally discover a wonderful, Biblically solid, confessional, reformation church here in Santa Clarita! This friendly and warm congregation is committed to sound theology and caring for each person that walks through the door. The minister, a brilliant and approachable graduate of Westminster Seminary (not to mention an expert in Greek and Biblical Theology), faithfully preaches from the Bible, proclaims the Gospel in every service, cares for each person in church, and can answer in an understandable way the most difficult challenges/questions. There’s a large group of children ranging from infant to teenagers that are also extremely welcoming and kind - one of the coolest things was seeing teenagers and older kids being so kind to my young daughter. There’s also regular men’s and women’s Bible studies, frequent gatherings, and LOTS of excellent food. I love bringing my family to hear the truth, be ministered to by the Word and sacraments, and enjoy the fellowship. More importantly, in an era of great compromise, error, and novel doctrine, I trust SCURC to be steadfast to their Biblical, confessionally reformed, historical, orthodox, sound convictions. Wherever you are in your life; whether you’re wondering about, new to, struggling, or strong in your faith; whether you’re curious about or committed to reformed theology (or somewhere in between); whether you’re a student, single, married with a family, younger, or older… and just simply want to have rest, peace, and assurance in Christ - this is the place to come!”

I was born and raised Muslim, 10 years ago I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, so I ended up taking the RCIA program there with Jodi Ann (who is AMAZING) and my daughter and I ended up getting Baptized there 2 years ago at the Easter Vigil by Father David. Divine Child is home and all the Pastors are amazing.. Father Bob is my favorite, I love that he loves taking selfies! “This was our first visit to this church, it is a busy church that seems to serve God and Jesus followers are evident. First, I have a 13 year old and he is pumped about this place of worship and so is his 11 year old sister, the Youth Services seem spot on he and she said. I toured the area with them and I am pleased for the efforts this church body emphasizes Christ Jesus. Two Elementary kids to go, my son is nine and he is a little unsure, kids are skeptical at times during change, my youngest she is 7, she is my shadow, where I go so does she. We Went to the Worship service and the Praise Team lead the initial service and sung praises to the King of kings. The message that was delivered by the Pastor reflected portions of my prayer last night before bed. I believe God opens doors no man can shut and He shuts door no man can open. I believe that God plants us where we belong and that we should be obedient to His calling. Today is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it…”
