“Helping the poor and needy with dinners and other ways. The people here care about the community without asking for anything in return. The church allows people to stay there on cold nights and once a month feeds the homeless and indigent. There is a big worship area on the first level. It has a big parking lot and they put on functions for everyne several times a year!”

“My family had moved from Dallas right after the JFK tragedy & and I began @ St. Stephen's. I remember Sister Malachi, Sister Helen & the beautiful church layout.. We lived on Magazine st..& as I recall the school was just around the corner.. From our upstairs apt. I'd turn right, then walk two-,three blocks ...where there, to my left, lay the best little parochial experience in the world-! Of course I'm much older now (69) so if anyone out there could help in proving/ disproving the belief that our Longterm memory improves with age...I'd surely love to hear about it...Fondly”
