“My family and I love this church. We have tried other churches before but never felt at home like we do here. The Preacher Eric Reed is absolutely amazing and doesn't preach over your head he does it in a way you can understand. Every sermon is spot on and hits so close to home. Their worship team is extraordinary, and so moving each and every song is their own that they worked on creating together and will bring tears to your eyes. The children's ministry is incredible and works so well with the children, I have two that absolutely love going. They have classes for every age group. Their security team do an outstanding job, they also have a team who stands outside to direct you where to go, and a fantastic greeting team on the inside for new comers to help you navigate your way threw and help show you around. They also have a fresh coffee area with extraordinary friendly people that keep the coffee hot and fresh for both the 9a.m service and the 11 a.m service. They also offer adult classes and groups for all different kinds of interest and needs anywhere from learning different parts of the Bible, to How to become a Foster parent or to adopt a child, as well as and excellent Recovery class on Sunday nights with Pastor Brandon and so much more!!!!! Everyone on their service team is required to do a background check and is repeated yearly. Not only is The Journey Church growing fast but they are also always helping the needs of families. If you are looking for a place of welcoming, friendly, REAL worship, my family and I highly recommend coming in and joining The Journey Family.”

“The best church I’ve been to! I’ve been here ever since I was a little girl, maybe about 7 or 8. Love everyone here and their company! I feel so loved here, and I’m friends with everyone! God has given me wonderful friends I call family, and I’m so blessed and thankful for that! There are so many good things we do, including benevolence fund, Easter egg hunts, Christmas at New Salem, eating afterwards to enjoy God’s presence and everyone’s company, etc. If you haven’t visited before, please do. “A very interesting church. If not for the name outside, one will not be able to guess it is a church. The shape and the inside is very unique, at least to me, since I have not been to a church shaped and done inside like this. It is shaped like a half cut barrell and looked so simple yet exudes some kind of peace compared to churches with such ostentatious designs. The sounds bounces off the walls and can hear it very well. The only thing I did not like is the way the pews or the benches were arranged where there is actually no middle so that the wedding walk was on one side or the other.”
