“Let me start by saying I’ve never owned a Cb before, first time I stopped in at raccoons shop it was really busy and there was over an hour wait so I left and came back, the second time caught him, he was slower which was perfect because I wanted to talk to him and I had a bunch of questions. Raccoon really knows his stuff, he is super helpful very knowledgeable and an absolute professional throughout the whole process. He tuned and peach my radio which is a “Cobra 29LTD Chrome” and he installed my coax and antenna. He then tuned my antenna. In the last week I’ve spoken to people in California, North Carolina, Maryland, New York (skip) and all over Tampa Bay. Would highly recommend raccoon and I will be back, as a lifelong customer. Call ahead it’s worth it, raccoon is “The” Guy”

“I was referred by a friend that had work done here. Said they did a good job. I took my tractor (18 wheeler) here to have my radio fixed so I could listen to the radio on the road. Since my memory isn’t the best, I forgot their names but the work was first rate. I was waiting to see if any issues would pop up after driving for a bit. The recording has a quality to it that I will never forget snd is imprinted on the record forever. Not to mention, each room they offer comes with sound reinforcement & amplification, & you can rent them by the hour. I’ve rented from Al since his days over at what is now called the OMC- he is truly part of the musical tapestry of Oakland. Music in this city is what it is because of the kindness, dedication, and work Al and his crew have put in. I hope to rent from him again soon, and I hope this place never goes away.
