I do not know all of their names, but Peppy, who stayed by my side comforting and monitoring my vitals, Monique who 1st comforted me then picked up my furbaby, cradling and comforting her, Stormy who was the poppa bear, his humor and concern was a comfort. The other members for all they did. This traumatic experience was my worst nightmare. Contained to kitchen but smoke, ash and toxic stuff throughout entire house. All material, me and Gigi, my life, my furbaby, are safe. Thank you to the Angel's at Ponchatoula Fire Department. Also, a big thank you to the Police and Acadian ambulance.”

“So grateful for this particular station as my dad wouldn’t be alive if it wasn’t for them! We were unaware that the police department had placed a ‘dangerous’ order on our address (just b/c we’ve had multiple issues with the police department). This particular order states that the emts & firefighters have to wait for police to declare it safe before they can come. The fire department didn’t wait as they knew we were ‘dangerous’ since they had been at our house a few months prior. The police didn’t even arrive until the emts were pulling away. Once my dad got to the hospital, the doctor said that if it wasn’t for the emts arriving so quickly he would’ve died. I cannot express how thankful I am for them taking that risk and coming to our house anyway! Also the order placed on our address has now been removed, thanks to the fire department & 911 dispatch!”
