“I wanted to send my sister flowers for her birthday to cheer her up. She called me the night before her bday balling her eyes out as we lost our father 2 years ago and she was so consumed with sadness that she wasn’t able to be with him nor hear his voice on her birthday. I did not want to go with 1800flowers or any of this big ones. I googled flower shops with her address and Flowers By Liz came up. I called them the day of her birthday. I asked if they could deliver them after 5:30-6 as I didn’t know what time my sister got home from work. They said that was no problem and “she” would be there later anyways working on flowers for a wedding. I’m assuming “she” was the owner. My sister said a sweet older gal delivered the flowered to her and it was so special for her. I plan to send a thank you card as not only were they super accommodating but the arrangement was GORGEOUS and so affordable! A++++++”

“Using Davenport Design was one of the best decisions we made when planning my daughter’s Aug. 25, 2018 wedding. From our initial meeting with Carl at a Starbucks near my daughter’s apartment, we both felt comfortable and knew he was the right florist. Meeting Scott a few months later only strengthened that first impression. Our Chicago Athletic Association Hotel venue was so beautiful it was hard to imagine it enhanced — but Davenport Design did so, making it simply magical. From the gorgeous candlelit aisle, the varied-height arrangements, to the floral doggie wreath for the bride and groom’s pup, each detail was exquisite. The head table overlooking Millennium Park was absolutely breathtaking. Not only was the cost below what I’d been warned by a wedding planner to expect for a formal, downtown-Chicago wedding, the execution was impeccable. Just an hour before the ceremony Scott adjusted the bridesmaids’s bouquets (all seven of them!) at my daughter’s request, to make them more subdued than originally planned — without question or complaint. We have received numerous compliments on the flowers since, several people saying they were the most beautiful they’d ever seen at a wedding. Besides all this, both Carl and Scott are true gentlemen, and an absolute delight to work with. I can’t recommend them strongly enough!”

Looking on line the prices were outrageous and I was not sure where the stores were located or what state. So many pop up on the internet. I did quite a bit of research and called Magic Flowers. Thankfully they delivered to my daughters zip code. (LA) The gentleman answering the phone was very kind and honest, not something you get too often. He was genuinely concerned that my daughter would get the flowers for her birthday. He also asked me to send a text confirming the address and message, which was very comforting. I ordered yellow sunflowers - 10 with two balloons. My daughter sent me pictures, it was perfect. The gentlemen sent me a text to let me know he delivered them! Where would you get that service! “Crystal is nothing short of amazing. When I had first started planning our wedding, one of the things I debated most was using real flowers as decor or not. After poking around, I think I found Masterpiece Flowers through a tagged Facebook post and I am so happy I did (psa: always tag your vendors!). I gave Crystal our linen colors, and some other information, as well as what my vision was, and to say she captured everything perfectly would be an understatement. Crystal captured everything perfectly and more. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and everyone was raving about them. What I loved most was that they weren’t just traditional flowers. Crystal has an eye for pulling together florals that are all so different but come together in a gorgeous bouquet/centerpiece/etc. Masterpiece Flowers arrived to the venue on time to set up and Crystal took her time putting everything together for us, paying attention to even the smallest of details. She also offers a clean-up service where she will come back at the conclusion of your reception to pick everything up, which was a huge help. Her communication throughout the entire process was timely, and she asked plenty of questions to really understand what my vision and ideas were. I was more than satisfied with the services that Crystal provided and I would highly recommend her to anybody looking for a florist for their event. My only wish is that my flowers could live forever- they were just so beautiful!”
