“Finding the right couch can be difficult. Luckily, I checked out this American Freight location and found a quality sectional that checked all my boxes. While it was warm browsing their AC-less warehouse in the late summer heat, the customer service there was great. And better yet, the price was fair. The sectional took about 2 months to be made and arrive in my living room from the time of purchase. Delivery is extra if you choose to use their 3rd party service. For another $85, I did accept their delivery option. Jerry Hunt, owner of 360 Solutions LLC, delivered my couch on time, with good communication, and without defects. I will use his delivery service again in the future. In conclusion, I'm very happy with my new couch and the service I received!”

“Norma Nicolo, who is the face of Green Door Interiors has more talent for choosing color in her little finger than any other 100 decorators combined. Don’t get me started on the gorgeous fabrics that she found. My Hunter Douglas installer, who had spoken to her told me that it was refreshing to find a person in the industry so professional and experienced. Green Door Interiors assisted me in my Philadelphia home. So naturally, when we bought our Florida home, Norma took over. She held my hand when I had to fire a horrible contractor in the very middle of an extensive renovation. Luckily for me, she knows about plumbing fixtures as well as curtains and came with a suitcase full of swatches. She is the best you will find. I can’t say enough good things about her.”

For most outdoor gear I am someone who typically shops at REI due to the return policy and my fear of committing to a product, but after some failed boot-fitting experiences there I decided to give Christy Sports a try. My boot fitter, Kyle, was super knowledgeable and got me into boots that work for my weird feet as well as gave me information on other ski products I was interested in. If you want to get your ski gear right the first time come here! Their season rentals are also a great deal for your first season when you would outgrow your first set of skis anyway.”

“Wow, this is the BEST Dollar Tree in the NYC area! I went to six different dollar trees leading up to Thanksgiving seeking out a few particular items they had. What I encountered wasn’t ideal, dirty stores, carts filled with boxes blocking aisles, a few stores I couldn’t even get down HALF the aisles. Shattered products, shelves a disaster etc.it was frustrating. I got up Saturday for one last try, traveling 30 minutes out to this Park Slope location that came up on Google maps, but not in Google for some reason. It was pristine, clean, neat and tidy shelves, fully stocked and no aisles blocked. Even better, I asked the staff for help locating an item, they knew exactly what I was talking about, where it was and were incredibly friendly. I was so impressed, I sought out the manager to thank him and let him know how much I loved the store and even he was a total delight. I was on a mission today but I’ll be heading back to throw as much business as I can to support this store. It may be a $1 store but it felt like a high end shopping experience.”

“Ben, the owner, is the sweetest! I was searching for a chair and a desk to match a photo I had seen on Instagram. He pulled together the below set for me from his warehouse. Since the desk wasn’t finished, he offered to paint it in the color that I liked with the knob of my choice. I’m so so so happy with my purchase! He is seriously the best, and I couldn’t be any happier with his service. He even gave my husband and I a tour of his warehouse where they build their premium furniture and apply the finishing touches in-house. I’m so impressed with the quality of their materials (mostly coming from Italy) and honestly stunned at the prices. I had been hunting everywhere for this specific King Louis chair in this color combo and found it at RH for around $350 and not completely white or at Perigold for ~$700. I’m still in disbelief that I got my dream chair for under $200. Absolutely love! This place is a must if you’re looking for custom furniture and great service.”
