“I want to start by saying I am NOT a fitness buff, gyms and exercise classes intimidate me and I find them stressful. I also have limited movement in my foot so I cant do most exercise routines. With all that said, I decided to to give yoga a try and after a google search, found Denver Down Dog. My first class was impressive to say the least. I was greeted warmly not only by the instructor, Lindsey but but the entire class. Each person introducing themselves, helped me get the equipment I may need and welcoming me. After the first week, I noticed how happy I was and my family noticed a huge difference in my mood. Each class I tried, each person and instructor I met was another level of friendliness- truly caring that you were there. Even the owner goes out of her way to introduce herself to anyone new. Not once have I felt judged (even when flailing on the floor trying to do a move) nor have I felt as though I walked in to a fashion show. After 3 weeks, I noticed my sleep has improved, my walk and my strength has improved (I didn’t realize how out of shape I was until starting this) and overall I feel great. The class selection is perfect for those who work full time, making it easy for me to come home, check on the kids then go to class. This really has changed mine and indirectly my families life!”

However, I wish that the parking lot here had cameras because I have experienced inappropriate comments made to me in the past and today in the parking lot. I'm starting to feel uncomfortable coming to the gym as this has already happened three times.”

“We came around 10 on a Saturday morning and it was delightfully uncrowded and my favorite album In Between Dreams was playing. The girls (7+8) had a blast making obstacle courses for themselves. There were a few spots for adults to sit and watch the kids which was nice. Liked the chalkboard station. Very fun place.”
