There was no MMA in Ohio, not legally anyway, and the first fighters made long road trips to fight for peanuts out of small venues, even animal barns at times. If it weren’t for the vision, blood, sweat, tears, and devotion of Marcus Marinelli, the complex that sits on Granger Road today would not exist. The pro fighters there today may never have gone into MMA. Fighting aside, the training that occurs there is top notch, and anyone who wants to get healthy and challenge themselves will be able to, whether they are 8 or 80.
