“Before I met Rumi I never saw the same stylist multiple times. I would always just call a random salon and see if they had openings. I would always like my hair but never loved it, so I never returned to the same stylist. Then I met Rumi. Every time Rumi does my hair, I am in love with it. She always, somehow, manages to get my hair exactly how I want it and I love the way she styles it at the end. Not only is she an amazing stylist but she is also very sweet, kind and easy to talk too. In the past, she's given me highlights (which I loved), but this time I wanted it darker/closer to my natural color for the winter and she was able to do exactly that. Basic haircut no extras or nothing, $5 not a big deal but still be up front with it, kid beside me handed $25 and guy said it's $30 my dude. After a strong recommendation from my Oncologist, she took over my health care after cancer in helping me deal with a dad who had dementia for 7 years while having to rebuild my body from the effects of cancer and radiation. When we first began seeing her, she was with a group that was mis-managed from billing to staff procedures. Her hands were tied as we viewed it. She has now separated from that group and has set her practice up with up-to-date medical information as well as working with the patient on how to manage their health with current knowledge of today. I would highly recommend Dr. Mendez to anyone wishing to choose a physician.”

We actually went to another salon and because my son was very scared and started to cry, they would not cut his hair. Ligia was so sweet and did everything in her power to make my son feel at easy. Though he was one tough lil customer, my son, she remained calm and pleasant. Even after all the tears, he got an AMAZING cut ❤️!!! Afterwards, he didn't even want to go home. “The process was great; washing the hair, some scalp massage, blow dry, flat iron, and anti-frizz spray as a final touch. It was my first time here because my friend Yessica recommended it. I hadn't straightened my hair in a long time, so I didn't how long it usually takes, but the process took approximately 30-35min., which I found quick, and my hair was silky straight. She asked me before starting if I wanted to do the flat iron, and I said yes, in addition to the blow dry because I needed my hair to last all day for a concert I was attending, especially in the humid warm climate of Miami.
