The Body Lab uses the megaformer to create a full body workout that is adaptable to all fitness levels and ages. The owners, Jena and Mike Green, are amazing and have developed a studio that has the most fabulous instructors in Kansas City! Each instructor with whom I have taken a class is incredibly well trained and is knowledgeable about muscle groups and how to achieve the best results with each move. There are numerous ways to adapt the difficulty of a move, and the instructors will often cue those modifications. In each class, there might be a mixture of people who have taken over 1,000 classes and others who are there for the first time, yet everyone will feel that they have gotten a great workout. If you want a boot camp type workout, this is NOT for you. You will never be yelled at, but rather encouraged in a positive way to give it your all. This workout is HARD, but doable for all. You might shake, your muscles might scream, you might question if you can continue to hold a position or pulse up and down, but it’s always up to you. A wonderful bonus is the amazing Body Lab community! I have made some valued friends and actually look forward to the days I get to go work out! I love this place!”
