“I had seen a mouse around my apartment for a couple of nights. I called the company on a Monday and was able to get an appointment for Thursday, and that was only because it is a busy time for them. Joseph was thorough looking for any holes and points of entry in every room of the house and would let me know any time he found any. He moved appliances and touched all the edges of cabinets looking for holes. Then he covered them up with steel wool or caulk. He also left bags of food in different areas where he thought mice would like to be in. Lastly he sprayed the whole apartment with bug spray as a first time courtesy. I can say I am pleased with the service I received. I don’t have much experience with pest control companies but the only other time I had someone come over all he did was move the oven, throw a bag of food there, another one in a closet and that was it. I even told the guy I could see droppings in a certain area and he didn’t even look. That was not the case with Joseph. He payed attention to all the information I gave him and educated me. Before he left he reassured me that I could sleep without worries. I would recommend their services.”

“We recently had what I would call a relatively complicated installation completed through NY City Blinds. We had 10 shades installed; 9 of the 10 were installed side by side and around two corners. The experience working with our design consultant Tommy and the results were excellent. The outcome was exactly what we expected and wanted. Based on past experience, we always expect a few hiccups the larger and more complicated the job. That’s where customer service comes in. In one case a shade may have been cut by a fraction of an inch too long to fit seamlessly into the row of 9 side by side shades. Tommy responded immediately without resistance and resolved the issue quickly to our complete satisfaction. Subsequently, we recommend NY City Blinds and Tommy both for the quality of their product and their customer service. “I've had five different contractors work on my backyard in the last 6-months, and these guys were easily the best I worked with. The Brandel brothers are the most authentic and genuinely nice guys you will meet in the industry. They answer the phone (in person, despite being the owners) and gave me incredible advice on countertops, appliances etc before I ever gave them a deposit or signed a contract. They gave me an estimate of 2-3 weeks for the project. By the time I was able to let them get started (pergola had to be completed by a different vendor first) it was 9-days before my son's birthday party and I asked them to see what they could do to get done in 9-day essentially. There was no drama, they just looked at the schedule, and lined up every one of their guys meticulously and got the outdoor kitchen finished in record time, without cutting any corners. I couldn't be happier with the finished product, they communicated well every step of the way, and went above and beyond to deliver for us. All of their crew are a pleasure to interact with. Helen is awesome at the 3D models also. Highly highly recommend these guys. They genuinely care about their customers, unlike almost every other contractor these days.”

“J. Salvatore and sons installed my roof with superior quality and crcraftsmsnship. I have what is called a Mansard roof. It is a flat roof. We fully replaced our roof down to the plywood. Our roof is very high, over 30 feet. The workers were super friendly and courteous. My wife was pregnant at the time and they went out of their way to accommodate her. They dismantled and replaced our roof in one day and did an incredible job. They installed high quality roofing materials and cleaned up the work site inside and out I highly recommend J. Salvatore and sons if you need a full replacement of a roof.”
