He cut the key inside the fob then programed the fob. This only took about 20-25 minutes. The cost was $150 to $200 less than the competition and the dealer. Nice guy too. The end result is an award winning truck – from the first Goodguys Show in Colorado where we won Best Early Truck and Trick Truck of the Year Finalist. It continues to win at most shows – over 20 awards. I did not want a show truck – wanted a custom driver and we have driven it over 8,000 miles in the first year. It has not been on a trailer at all. I really enjoyed the design process from fitting a 55 dash to the custom bed he made from scratch and the 100’s of small custom touches. Travis continues to stand by his work even though it has been completed over a year, has fixed a few minor issues without charging me and added a few new touches.
