Ralph White is the owner and if You need a place to stay You should be thankful for this housing. I never seen any body rent a room for one night it's more like on a monthly basis, some of the rooms are run down but keep in mind how old this place is,... it's a part of Stockton history.”

“Great place to stay with the family. Although the internet was down in my building at the time of my stay however relived it worked fine by the pool. Having 2 children running hotspot off of ours phones was a bit much. Had I knew it worked on the other side of the building I would have asked them to change our rooms. Pool was clean and staff were diligent when it came to encoring rules no glassware rules.”

“This is a nice quiet community, with great management. The pool is a little small, but a nice place to relax and meet neighbors. They are close to a store and a VFW post that hosts events, cooking, and wedding receptions. You can also stop by and have a drink, with the home town veterans, and get the local scoops. LLE isn't city incorporated, city issues for Baker and Zachary aren't, on your ballot. School rezoning affects school age children, however there are affordable private schools across the area.”

“The good outweighs the bad. Yes, it’s dated, but sometimes shiny and new is not the best. The Casita is big, adequate, I love it. I like being in back of the main building except parking my truck far away, especially with signing all the waivers saying La Posada is not responsible for damage or break in to vehicles. Put more cameras up or maybe I didn’t notice that many. The clerk was, shall I say, unique. A little argumentative regarding the security fee. I don’t mind a $50 hold “Everywhere else charges $100” I was told. My issue was the price was different than I reserved, a simple misunderstanding, take a chill pill. And yes, I adhere to all policies, I detest smoking and I do take offense when someone thinks I’ll smoke and break the rules. It must be allowed somewhere as I smelled smoke when I walked out of my room. I thought I’d enjoy my morning bagel/coffee next to the pool with the water fall-denied, big old chain around the gate. Seriously? We sign waivers, we are responsible and assume our own risks, don’t chain off the pool and ruin a peaceful morning, please. Overall the little touches were nice, thank you.”

Looked a little sketchy but really not bad. Great location, good view of the ocean or city depending on what side you’re on. Nightly rates were really good considering how close to the beach it is. Definitely going to keep this place in mind for our next trip out here!”

“Out of the motel 6's we've stayed at I'd have to say this was one of the better ones. Huge TV, more channels on the TV, the cleanest by far, the most grass areas for pets I've seen at any motel! Every member of the staff we met was very nice polite and kind.. Truly bummed that the pool appears to be closed-was really hoping it would be open.. Excellent location hidden right off highway 99 surrounded by places to eat, shopping..Would give ????? if the pool was open. Definitely recommended and have already booked our second stay..”
