“Attended an Allan Harris Quartet Concert featuring the music of Eddie Jefferson and Nat King Cole on August 24 with my wife. It was amazing! Not only were the musicians perhaps the best we've ever heard, (the pianist particularly), but Harris himself was exceptionally entertaining. His voice was otherworldly and his stories fascinating. Rutherfurd Hall itself was an unexpected treat. What we saw of it in the 20 minute intermission was enough to ensure that we would be returning for a complete tour. We never imagined there was such an historical and architectural gem right here in our midst. And I have to complement the hosts. They made the entire experience warm and satisfying.”

“We love this place. My 2.5 year old has enjoyed it since before he was walking. He's excited everytime we go. His favorite part is the ride-on toy selection.”

“This place is the best for an afternoon enjoying trains the staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable and they don't seem to mind to take time out of their day to talk to you or your child about trains including they can blow train whistle and actually go on board some of the trains and look at them inside and touch stuff and sit on stuff it's the second weekend of every month and it's free”

“My mom and me found about this museum and went to visit it one day. It is amazingly detailed museum about American military history. I was very impressed by one gentleman, who I can only assume was a vet volunteering, who knew a lot of details about one of the displays. And the displays were first class but also focused a lot on the Home Front which is a nice change of pace. I took lot of photos and learned a lot about local history as well. And the whole visit was very pleasant. It was amazing just how much they put into the space they had available!”

“I only went to the park, not the museum. It's nice to have a natural park a few minutes from my house. The state is still in the process of building and improving the site. I'll happily return again.”

“So cool. I was there as a vendor providing a service to the staff but they were more than happy to talk about the history and show us around. Great bunch of people. Beware there are stairs, many, many stairs. Not handicap friendly. Also, many tripping hazards so do exactly as they say and pay attention. Can't wait for it to open as a museum.”

“Small cemetery that's been around since the mid-1800's, started as a family plot. Quite a historic marker for the area.”

“The second floor has amazing hands on activities for kids... not cheesy or patronising, but really challenging and simulating! First floor had a couple virtual reality options, build your own dinosaurs, a T-Rex skeleton, and sea monsters of North America. The replica skeletons in the sea monster exhibit were incredible! It's very hard to imagine turtles being that large, or that such amazing animals lived in the shallow ocean that once covered much of North America.”

“This a great neat little museum. They have some great automobile treasures. Amazing to think how cars and engines have evolved over time. We did the railroad in town then walked down town afterwards. Well worth the stop :) Highly recommend for family trips:)”
