“The grounds and historical buildings are well maintained and the park holds several different events throughout the year. Went during their trick or treating event and thought the volunteers did a wonderful job. Several living historians on site along with members from a local boy scout troop handing out candy.”

“Mr sanchez is a curator of this, site and gave tours. he is a direct desendant of sanchez adobe mansion and gives a wonderful detail account of the history of this entire area from fullerton , workman mill, la puente, yorba linda. It was such a blessing to have him directly tell me the story of his ancestors. There is actual abode mud in the ground which is what the mansion is made up of. I actually made pottery from the adobe in the ground because my friend lived next door to the mansion. We put it in a kiln too.”

“Love, love, love this place. What a cool place for kids to pretend and discover. They have a pretend farmers area, grocery store complete with check out lanes, a veterinarian area complete with real x rays to read and a receptionist area to make appointments, a baby care area with feeding tables and weight and height checks, a water works area, a art room to paint or create any kind of masterpiece your little one can think up, race car room w lots of race tracks, a gymnasium full of swings and oversized blocks, chess board, rock climbing wall and slide. U can bring your own snacks and eat them in the picnic area of the gym or buy something from the vending machine there. But this place is well worth the money with tons of stuff for all kids to do. I forgot there is also a infants room for kids under 2, lots of soft play toys and little slides etc.”

“We have been to a few bigger art museums but we were impressed with the art displayed at this museum. The staff was very friendly. We went on a Thurs 4-8 and it was free with live music and people outside relaxing. The location is beautiful. We were able to see Civil Rights inspired exhibits that are ending soon and really impressed by those exhibits. The gift store is great. We will def return and enjoyed our time.”

“The Palos Verdes Heritage Museum Castle was once the setting for the classic film it's a mad mad mad mad world. The entrance to the park was filmed here at the front Gates and the Big W palm trees we're inside. Unfortunately the trees no longer exist. It's still a very cool place and it's worth the drive down the coast to check it out.”
