“What a shame the property and immediate area are so overdeveloped. Dont get me wrong, i LOVE many of the shops and restaurants around here, i just think there's too many housing developments, and maybe that car dealership could have been located elsewhere so Oakridge and the property next door could be as they used to. Plus I guessnthe stables and racetrack are gone from here, which is a shame. Still, we are very fortunate that this beautiful mansion and grounds still exist at all! It's just breathtakingly beautiful! They really knew how to build 'em in those days!”

Glen Miller lived in Duarte back in his day. They called it Tuxedo Junction. Those of you familiar with his music know there was a song they played by the same name. Evidently it was the place to be back then.”
