“Beautiful park. I was surprised to find such a secluded and dense woods in middle of all the busy towns around. I have been running year round in this park for the last 2 years. The trail is marked well. A couple of places to the north of the park on the trail becomes a swamp after a rainy day. There are some nice campgrounds and picnic spots. Dog park is a must visit on weekends.”

“Never heard of this place before searching for zoos in New Jersey and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely worth the trip and I will be back next year with my son. It's important to support small, local zoos like these, because they do a great thing for the animals and in return our children get to learn and have love for animals.”

“Somewhat niche but extensive collection (both in the spacial and quantitative sense). Very well informed, unobstructive, and cordial staff. Cafe on site has a wide selection of surprisingly good options, but is more expensive than many options in town.”

“Excellent museum featuring a brand new documentary of Candlewood Lake and it's creation. Truly an engineering marvel of the last century. It also has a bunch of beautiful antiques and relics of the town. The two houses themselves are in excellent shape and they are set in a scenic woodland wonderland with a small waterfall. The history of the houses themselves is super interesting, and they were rescued from demolition by moving them down the street on the back of flatbed trucks!”

“The team that hosted the July 4th celebrations we're amazing!! We relocated from Texas and to have our first Independence Day celebration with such great guides, could not have been more Wonderful. Truly remarkable experience all Americans must experience with their families. The expertise with the artillery and Marching is paired so well with charismatic guides, diving into a part of our history better than any story teller you've sat in front of. We will be back and with more family !”

“One of the best hikes I've done this year. The only problem is that I wore boots that weren't really suited for hiking. The view from the fire tower was amazing. I extended the hike by going over to Echo Lake.”
