It's based around simplistic decor, while still feeling cozy. It's dark like a dive bar should be, while still well-lit enough to be able to interact with friends and staff. It's also in a good, safe location which is nice.”

“Every time I come to town, I stay at Mandalay Bay it’s my favorite place to stay. I also like to visit House of Blues about twic to three times during my stay! I loved their food. The Pasta Dish is my favorite! I was very pleased to see that they seem to have it together! Even though the staff had masks they were all friendly from the hostess, to the server, to the manager that stopped by my table. I did noticed a person dedicated to spray and sanitize everything which made me feel safe and comfortable. The bathrooms were super clean. I’m really impressed to see their commitment to us, and each other.”

I think it is a good place for people who needs a silent and comfortable place to work or rest in HNL. However, it’s not fancy at all and there is NO food or fruits all day long. “I've loved this place for years and every person I've introduced to Buttons loves it too. We usually go very early or during off times to avoid the crowds because this place is popular and gets very busy (for good reason). Most recently we went for a late lunch around 2:30 in the afternoon and our order was delayed because the kitchen was working on a large catering order. We were not in a hurry and didn't mind but our server was so nice and brought us a second round of beers for free. When our food did come out it was hot and delicious as always. We never complained about the wait but regardless our server also discounted our check by 10%. I don't think many restaurants would have done the same. I love this place and I can't wait to go back when they reopen!”
