““In the spring of 2020, I received a grim diagnosis about my knee. I started to have knee pain and discomfort and my range of motion was decreasing as well as pain going up and down the stairs. I went to see a knee specialist/surgeon who told me that my knee is in a bad shape and my only options are anti-inflammatory pills now and double knee replacement in 10 years. This was devastating to a mother of three children who also liked to hike, bike, and cook for family and friends. I started to withdraw from the things I love and felt worried about my family. I began to look for help and explore the option of Physical Therapy. I was very fortunate to find Empowered PT and to work with Bishoy. He spent a lot of time listening to me and understanding what the issue was. He reassured me that with the right exercises and movements, I was going to get better. We started small with exercises I was comfortable with then we progressed overtime. I started to feel better and was encouraged to do more exercise at home. After few months of working with Empowered PT and at home, I am now able to do so much more. My pain and discomfort have subsided. My range of motion is almost back to normal. I can go up and down the stairs without thinking, I can plan activities with my kids and I can cook and host dinners, as I always loved to do. My knee is no longer holding me back. “I found Touchstone when I had 2 ongoing issues that needed to be addressed more urgently than not. The staff was pleasant to work with, sympathetic to my busy schedule and my pain levels and worked tirelessly to fit me in to be seen when I could get there. I was paired with Natalie who was a complete God-send. She took me from barely being able to lift my arm for basics, to doing 70 pound scapula pulls in a seemingly short amount of time. I regained use of my arm and shoulder and was finally able to be without pain! She was always encouraging, never let me make excuses, and always would help get me back on track when I failed to be consistent with my at home progress. I highly recommend their services more than any other physical therapy group I have ever had experience with, as their staff is much more involved actively and therapists are much more informative as to what is going on in your body to help you implement exercises well.”

“Fleming therapists truly care! My daughter has been going to Fleming for almost 3 years now. She really enjoys PT with Annie! Annie always has an organized plan in place for each session and have seen my daughter build strength and endurance with each new exercise practiced with Annie! She also sees Ainsley for speech and is learning to express herself with sign language. Ainsley is very patient and has a very friendly demeanor with my daughter. Lastly, my daughter works with Lia and Kayleigh for OT. They are both super helpful with thinking of ways for my daughter to feed and dress herself! Overall, I am thankful for everyone at Fleming!
