“I have a little under 3 weeks visiting this facility and honestly I can’t complain. At first I was a little skeptical but soon was captivated by the service offered. I needed PT facility close home after my knee surgery because I didn’t want to travel into the city in my current state. I have seen amazing progress in such little time and I am eager to see what my end result will turn out to be. Bill is a very friendly and super patient. He answers all you questions and explains the rationale behind each protocol. Steve has also been great to work with. He will support and push you to try things. After my first session with him I was soo happy to be able to lift my leg and gain some range of motion. He seems very knowledgeable about what he’s doing. The administrative staff ladies are soo helpful and kind. So far I am very pleased.”

“My journey started May 13, 2019. I had a total right knee replacement. No one told me the struggles I might have after surgery. #1 Range of motion. After surgery I couldn't bend my knee barely 40 degrees. I was 45 years old when I had this surgery so having limited movement was also an emotional challenge. #2 Emotional struggles. I was having 3 meltdowns a day asking myself, "Was this surgery a mistake?" I was in search of a GREAT Physical Therapy office. I found Southeastern on Google and they had great reviews. I decided to give the N. Battlefield office a try. Lauren greeted me and I felt as if she understood my physical and emotional pain. I knew at that moment I made the right decision. Lauren and Joseph worked with me 3x wk for 6 months. It was a struggle to get my knee to bend past 90 degrees. My goal was 120. We did reach 90 degrees pushing. I thank you Lauren, Joseph and team for helping me get closer to my goal. I hit a brick wall with my range of motion and decided on a new location. I relocated to South Norfolk Southeastern Physical Therapy in Chesapeake in Nov 2019. I will admit...I picked this location because I grew up in South Norfolk. Let me just say this....BEST DECISION EVER!!! When I met Cori Z, I was a little emotional because I wasn't hitting my goal number of 120. I wasn't close to that number when I came to Cori. The 1st week with Cori, she had me walking NORMAL. Walking normal and not dragging my toe when I walked...that's important. My range of motion and strength improved in a month. Cori worked miracles on my knee and educated me on the muscles surrounding the knee. My last session, I was at 112 by myself and 120 with Cori pushing. Cori Z is the BEST around. That girl needs to be honored with a GOLD metal. She worked with me to the END and NEVER gave up on me. Her entire Team is wonderful. Erica, who is the sweetest receptionist in the world. John, A GREAT PTA who is caring and understanding. I wish you all the best!!! If you are looking for a GREAT team/family South Norfolk Physical Therapy is the place to go!!!!!!”

Old review from 1/29/2021 - Manager was rude and condescending when I asked a question about whether or not the coupon reader was working on the counter because the front desk had a note that said “Cash Only”. I considered getting something else after eating my sandwich and small fries while waiting for a bus because I had to wait longer due to the Rover Bus having technical issues. Needless to say I left after her attitude trying to make me seem like the rude one.”
