“We had such a wonderful time staying here for our anniversary. The cabin is excellent, and the amenities are top-notch. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival at just how many amenities they offered. There was such a wide selection of beverages, the kitchen was stocked and labeled for easy navigation. They also provided a multitude of games, cards, and books. The outdoor area was meticulously maintained and the jacuzzi was heaven sent after a day spent hiking. We had such a great time in Big Bear and this cabin was one of the main reasons why we did.”

“This unit was huge. Lots of space for a family to enjoy. Being on the top floor definitely enhances one's view, and it was a great view of the ocean. I actually prefer it to the view from the first floor oceanfront side of the building. The kitchen was nicely equipped and there was plenty of comfortable seating throughout the unit. The two spare bedrooms on the first level of this unit are noticeably bigger than the ones in the unit we stayed at previously. And the mattress on the bed in the master bedroom was the best mattress we have ever experienced. What a wonderful week. Thank you to the owners for keeping the place so nice.”

From the sales office (especially Loni Long & Stephanie Florian) to the site project manager (Dave Ottavi) and all the way up to the executive staff, every area of Preferred Living came together to work as a team during our home construction project at the Bungalows at Mayfair. The team went above and beyond to ensure our home was built on time and on budget. No matter what concern, question or request to remedy we brought to their attention, Preferred Living was respectful of our preferences. For instance, there was an issue with the design of our driveway so Loni and team worked for several weeks to reposition our home on our lot to ensure we were happy with the configuration. This was no small effort--it meant flipping the house to a different layout and clearing out an entire section of the road in front of our home. This is just one of many instances where Preferred Living went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience possible. Similar to the experience of a previous reviewer, some of our fixtures weren’t up to our standards (or were broken) upon inspection and after we moved in, but a simple request to have these items fixed/replaced was all it took to rectify the issues we encountered.”
