“Great little mom and pop. A large seating area with more than enough room. The coffee was a little weak for my tastes but the hash browns were crispy as requested. Staff was quick to serve and quite hospitable. We visited on a Thursday not too big of a crowd but might be a different story in a Saturday morning. And yes the food was 4 star quality.”

“My other favorite Mexican joint is also inside a gas station so I may be biased 😅. Honestly stumbled across this place on a road trip and imagined average tex-mex. NO! THIS IS BY NO MEANS AVERAGE. This place has all the best qualities of a hole in the wall authentic restaurant shoved into a gas station with a simple menu done PERFECT. I only had the tacos, beans, rice and churro. Based on how good these were though, I would be SHOCKED if anything they offer was subpar. They have some of the best meat I've ever had in a taco. Fresh off the grill , with a good amount of char on every piece. Onion, herbs , and lime on the side in a simple corn tortilla and the fresh fried churro😭🥴!! They do the simple stuff and just hit it out of the park. This is universal comfort food!”

“We decided to go here for dinner based on the previous reviews. We didn't regret it. Location: This restaurant/bar is located upstairs. The stairs to the restaurant are located smack dab in the middle of the building in the front. The view of the sun setting and the waves across the street from here is beautifully calming. Ambiance: We were greeted as soon as we walked in and informed that we could pick a table. The inside was clean and very calm. It wasn't too busy. Food: It was amazing! The Nachos were fresh and the beef and cheese and sour cream were delicious! The Staxx burger was moist and delicious. You could taste the pepper jack cheese and the pattie was sooooo juicy! The bun was super soft! Loved it! I also got the Garlic Tater tots and as soon as the food came to the table you could smell the Garlic. It was delicious! They did not skimp on the garlic! So crunchy too! My husband got the Shrimp and steak plate and his food was delicious! Service: Again the waitress was really friendly when we arrived. The reason for the 4 stars was one of the waiters had come over to ask us if we needed anything. We asked for a fork and some sauce and the waiter never came back lol It wasn't crowded and I think the waiter just forgot. We loved the food and the other service so we didn't mind. Price: For the amount of food we got. We didn't mind that it was a little bit pricey. It was worth it. Definitely adding this to our favorite places for dinner dates. Overall: If you haven't tried this place, definitely go try it!”

“Great service and even better food. We came here early on a Tuesday night to grab a quick bite. We tried the fresh rolls with tofu, panang curry, pad Thai with Shrimp and ended with the Thai iced tea and coconut ice cream. All of the food was super flavorful with a good spiciness. I ordered level 3 out of 5 spice and it was moderately spicy. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back as it was some of the better Thai we’ve had in some time. “Of course it’s time of the year again and we all wanted the honey baked ham. Yes, went there and bought 7.4lbs ham, prime rib and tri tip plus other stuff beans gravy bread and mustard. The cashier was nice to give everything I wanted. The line was not really that long like when I used to go there. As always honey baked ham is recommended and this place is good if you want some of those. Keep up the good work.👍🏻”

“Love this place! The fish is amazingly fresh and well seasoned. She had the pork cutlet sandwich she’s been craving and loved it. You can see in the picture that her cutlet was pounded perfectly thin and was the size of a dinner plate. Half of it was eaten in that sandwich and the rest saved for a treat the next day My fish was amazing. This picture doesn’t fully represent the size and flavor and aroma from that plate! The outside deck overlooking the river was beautiful and it was a very pleasant late summer day Staff was very friendly and attentive. Cocktails were delicious! We’ll be back!!”
