“Went here last minute for a family dinner. I was hesitant on the food because it was more of a bar scene. I take that all back. Everything we had was very good. The fish fry was awesome and a couple at the table had that. I had the prime rib sliders and they were delicious. The only thing we didn't like was the coleslaw that came on the plate, we didn't order it so we assume it just comes with some dishes. I would highly recommend this place. For 7 adults and one 5 year old the bill was 160. We all had meals and we had 3 appetizers, drinks and a few alcoholic drinks. I didn't think that was bad compared to if we went to any chain restaurant.”

“Great tasting food, large portions, worth the wait. Catering is also available. I ordered a Lighter BBQ Chicken with Spam Musubi on the side. I also ordered for my friends so it was a big order. Food was well seasoned, tender, and perfectly cooked. I didn't find anything too salty, but I will say that the rice was soggy and overcooked. My dish came with salad on the side and it was pretty good despite the dry old carrots. Their Mac and Cheese is super soft and creamy. We waited 40 minutes for some good eats! “My friends and I sat at the bar. The bartender was new but super, super helpful. We ordered Vietnamese Spring Rolls, steamed pork buns, shrimp wonton, and some cocktails. “My first visit to Fresco Grill was a wonderful dining experience from the moment we entered this distinctly Italian atmosphere we were greeted by Leone the owner from a town south of Rome, then Alex our server on his first night on the job was friendly and provided excellent service! The Rack of Lamb was outstanding 👏 served on a bed of mashed potatoes and grilled squashes and carrots, and a luscious tasting sauce with fresh sprigs in rosemary. The Linguine Cioppino with fresh mussels, shrimp, clams, fish was great and a generous portion. Dessert was a Special for the night, a type of Cheesecake I've never seen or tasted before, not too sweet, melted in your mouth, then Alex surprised us saying dessert was on the house, complimentary from the owner as first time customers. I highly recommend Fresco Grill located in a pretty little village of shops and restaurants in Bonsall just off Highway 76 & Mission Rd not far from Interstate 15.”

The pizza was fine, but the crust was a little on the chewy and tough side. It also seemed that it had not been made fresh, but had been warmed up upon order. It was not bad, but would probably be better fresh. The lasagna was good, but needed a little more seasoning. Service was prompt and pleasant. While I cannot fault a restaurant for its customers, the layout of the restaurant seemed to amplify the sound of the multiple screaming children, making it difficult to enjoy the experience. Might return, but probably only for takeout.”

“We searched for some Asian food places after visiting Six Flags and came across this Korean cafe. Perfect place to eat after a long day. There was a few table filled with customers but still had plenty of seating. Ordered the Beef Hot plate, Popcorn Chicken and a Spicy Tofu Soup which we finished entirely. Food was delicious, would order more if we could fit more in our belly. The free side dishes were just as good. They actually have a double menu. The reverse side shows a selection of Vietnamese Pho dishes which we will most likely try next time. Would recommend to anyone to visit. Prices were decent and food came out quickly.”

“Despite having heard poor comments about Captain Hook's for a while, we decided to give them a chance, and VERY pleasantly surprised. I had the fried fish and shrimp while my better half had the fish. The portions were LARGE and both the fish and shrimp were hand breaded, the fries fresh cut, the hush puppies excellent, and the cocktail sauce fresh mad also. I don’t know if the tartar sauce was made in house, but was good, also. On the whole, a very tasty, plentiful, and economical meal. I hope this goes to dispelling their rep.
