Wish I would’ve take more pictures but so far we’ve tried: the pork & cheese pupusas, the birria tacos & quesadilla, blackened chicken tacos, blackened shrimp tacos, steak tacos, taco fiu fiu which have steak, chicken, AND shrimp on one taco, everything has been delicious. “The combo rice noodle dish was fantastic. Comes with an egg roll and three or four meats including shrimp. The attached picture is of my leftovers, lol. I ate at lunch and brought the rest home and I barely will be able to finish it for supper. And it was only $9 or $10 something, plus tax. They only have canned drinks to buy (maybe bottled water) and the cans are $1, but they had a pretty good variety. It's somewhat small and mostly a takeout place, looks like, but they do have about seven booth type tables (no dividing walls). Not a place for really large groups but individuals and families with children can sit comfortably. And the workers were nice and respectful. Definitely hope to go again when I'm in the area. FYI, I only gave four stars because the restroom was kind've nasty.”

Being able to have a Belgium Tripel and saurkraut'ed Bratwurst simultaneously in heart of Encinitas was a treat. I missed the bulk of it, but seems to have a good trivia night too (not sure of day). Place could use a good deep cleaning as I won't go into too many details. Staff attention drifts away as night progresses and beers consumed. But otherwise, a fun and solid experience. I'll be back.”

“The best chicken rice I've ever had outside of Singapore. This place has incredible chicken rice. On the kiosk, I ordered dark meat, with skin, with chicken broth, and a container of Singapore soy sauce. The chicken was perfectly poached. It was tender and just wonderful. The rice was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The broth was perfectly salted and tasted great; I had the whole cup all at once. The Singapore soy sauce seemed to be soy sauce diluted with chicken broth. I used about half the container. I appreciated the shredded carrots, sliced cucumbers, and cilantro on the side. I also ordered some fried chicken skin, because I've never had it. It came in a wax paper bag and had a strong chicken-y smell. The skin was like pork rinds but chicken. For my drink, I had a can of coconut water. My total after tax, before tip was $23.98, which felt fair for what I got. Here's why I'm taking a star off: I saw and heard two employees bullying a third employee for wearing a mask. There were two guys, one with a cap and one with a beard, and they continued to comment on a female employee who was wearing a mask. I loved the food here. It brought a smile to my face. However, some of the employees need to grow up.”
