“This is a really great place to go for breakfast!! Most of the time breakfast places give off a “homey” feel or almost fast food vibes, but this place is very clean and modern! It was pleasant surprise walking in and the food made it even better! We got French toast and pancakes, a little spendy but you’re getting your moneys worth. The meals are on the sweeter side and the chocolate pancakes were almost too chocolatey, but all still very good tasting. The service was great and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint for the whole place is that they charged me 5.75 for a glass of orange.. it was good orange juice but not that good, I understand it’s because it’s “fresh squeezed” but I wouldn’t get it again.”

“This was a surprising little treasure. It is a very cute 50's style themed restaurant. The menu items are all themed inspired names. Our waitress [Taylor] was super sweet, patient, and a lot of fun. “My first time diner here. I took my parents to listen to the live music of Patti Highland. She performs Saturdays from 5-8:30 p.m. outside under a large well built Tiki Hut. We all enjoyed our dinners and were well taken care of by Eric our waiter. Patti was fantastic as a singer. We are BIG fans of her. There was a nasty smell when I stepped into the restaurant. I am thankful my parents never went in. I hope this smell gets addressed immediately.”

“I have never been to this Starbucks location. It was a fairly typical Starbucks and the staff all seemed very happy and chatting back and forth with each other and customers. They had a great little comment board at the front of the store where customers could post comments about individual baristas. I thought that was a cool idea! The only reason it won't get a five star from me is the cleanliness of the bathroom leaved a little to be desired. Just walking in the bathroom door. I noticed the inside of the toilet bowl had black mold stuff around the inside edge. I wouldn't expect to see that in a public restroom!”

“I came here with 4 friends on a Friday evening and it wasn't crowded. I did a phone reservation a few days before. We ordered margherita pizza and 3 pasta dishes of the following: Spaghettini Con Anatra (homemade spaghettini with duck ragu sauce), Spaghetti Alla Carbonara Romana (spaghetti with pork cheeks & egg) & Fetuccine Al Funghi (hand cut egg noodles w/ portobella & porcini mushrooms). I was glad that my friends and I shared all the pasta dishes to try a few bites from each. I love that their pasta is hand made. Each pasta is also al dente (chewy & firm). The duck ragu pasta dish was pretty light in flavor but still flavorful with the duck. The mushrooms were juicy and fresh and the egg noodles were wonderful. The carbonara dish was quite rich and creamy in flavor but its crispy bacon and peppery taste balanced out the richness from the cheese. The pizza was also delicious with the thin crust and char from wood fire. It was juicy from the tomatoes & cheesy. The pesto sauce was also a nice extra touch to the pizza. I tried their nectarine & silican almond for gelato this time. Nectarine tasted just like the fruit and it was refreshing. The almond was quite nutty. I also recommend their focaccia bread and pistachio gelato. I was sad that they didn't have pistachio gelato this time since I usually get that when I have visited Bulgarini the past few times. As someone who loves pistachios, their pistachio gelato is one of the best I have tasted in LA area. 😊😋”

“This place is the only all you can eat AYCE dumpling restaurant I saw in San Gabriel. It's a small hole in a wall mom and pop shop and you can even see an elderly couple making the dumplings when you enter the restaurant. The place is small. When I came in, no one spoke english. One of the waitress came with a translator machine and that was the first time I communicated with one of the staff. Someone came over and put a pot of boiling water on the portable stove on our table. We are given a big tray with ladle. The dumplings are on trays of 8 pcs and I thought we have to grab each tray. I was wrong. I grabbed 5 trays of different dumplings so I got full adter eating 40. I didn't know that I need to use the BIG tray that is put on the table with a big ladle. You will use that tray to pick the dumplings you want from the freezer and put it on your tray. You will then boil these dumplings until they float. Wait for a few more minutes to cook the internal of the dumplings. There are also some appetizers like kimchi, eggplant, bean sprouts and fish balls on the other side of the freezer. There are black, red vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil and chili oil that you can mix for the dumpling sauce. The dumplings are delicious and fresh. We tried their beef, shrimp and vegetable dumplings. This place is worth it if you have the big appetite to eat dumplings. But they have a limit. Only 1 hour for AYCE dumplings.”
