“Loved it! We had the sampler appetizer which consisted of 4 wings, fried cauliflower, fried mushrooms and fried pickles. We arte it all and wanted more. Great stuff. I had the pulled pork sandwich dressed with slaw for my entree. Great smoky flavor and the slaw was a perfect match. My wife had the smoked chicken salad wrap. She said the smoky flavor was perfect. The staff was awesome and the weather was perfect to sit outside. There were only a few others there because we went mid day, so we had the back porch all to ourselves with the occasional hummingbird dropping by to visit the feeders Just a great time. We will be back for sure.”

“Service was excellent. We stopped for snacking and drinks. Ended up ordering multiple pizzas to take home to the family. Food was hot, fresh and had original flavors and combos. Wings were very large and somewhat fatty (not my favorite but not bad- personal preferences) very flavorful. Happy hour options are not on menu. Pizza was good, crispy crust and loaded with toppings. Would have liked happy hour menu- maybe smaller snack portions for cocktail hour. Everything was very visibly appealing.”

The experience started off with the horchata. It tasted a little different but still very refreshing. However, I didn't get the hints of cinnamon or vanilla that I would normally find in horchata. While the agua fresca is good, the main event is the Carne. First up is the Carnitas. While they were crispy, they were also a little dry. But, it’s nothing their spicy red salsa and lime can’t fix. The salsa added an extra kick with the lime providing that fresh citrus flavor, taking the carnitas to another level. Next is the chicharron. La Sabroza cooks theirs in a green sauce, which was good. However, it lacked the spicy kick it needed to really elevate it. The chorizo hit the mark: spicy, fatty, aromatic, smoky and delicious. The tripa was well seasoned and cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside with a soft center on the inside. Finally, the highlight of the whole experience: the barbacoa. Juicy, savory, fatty, and salty, cooked and seasoned to perfection. To add the cherry on top, everything was paired amazingly with sauteed onions and grilled jalapeño. “Panda has a special place in my heart : ) the only thing I don't really understand is why their honey walnut shrimp taste different every time, sometimes they're really juicy coated with that nice sauce and other times they're dry and very crunchy. The fried rice used to be filled with more veggies and definitely more green onion now its just rice with a pea here and there. But I do love that they have an app now and you get points and coupons! Sweet!”

“We hosted our high school reunion in the newly renovated function room and could not have found a better spot. VFW officers and members were incredibly welcoming and helpful from reservations through clean-up. Parking was close and plentiful. The room was clean and attractive, with several lighting options and plenty of room for our 65-70 guests. The stage easily accomodated a four piece band. Heating trays for up to six full trays were readily available and convenietly located for our catering and serving. The bar was fully stocked and wonderfully staffed by Becky who was a big hit with our crowd. Overall, we had a great experience at the 7272. The people are great to work with and I'd recommend the facilities without hesitation.”
