“We grabbed lunch here around 11:30 on 7/5 while waiting for our flight. The line was long, but it moved fast, and based on reviews, we thought it would be worth the wait. And we were right! I expected to be disappointed because I really don’t like Subway, but I was blown away by the deliciousness of the big kahuna cheesesteak! “Wings are a bit pricey…almost $2 a wing and very small, we order the Rick a feller oyster and they were good. We ordered the coconut shrimp and it was good. They had live music and the service was good, even though it was pretty busy. When I first come in, I was a little bit lost…there’s no hostess so you have to seat yourself, the table has 2 signs. A blue sign that says: no service needed and a red sign, that says: service needed. You will need to turn it to request a server and you need to get your own menu (this is if you seat outside) menu it’s in the middle. Food was good”

“Pros: I was craving a banh mi sandwich - came upon this place saw they had sardine sandwich got it and fell in love. The BREAD is so fresh its like it just came out of the oven so soft and buttery, I use to the bread on the hard side from other places I dine. Other than that the filling was typical bahmi filling. A mixed of vinegar sweet and spicy I also had their typical milk tea with tapioca, same as milk tea you'll find in China. Simple. Dinner was served promptly with Tuna, salmon and a custom pizza. All were great. No self respecting first timer would skip on desert! The guys who run it are good people with good vibes, and the bbq is not only the best tasting, but the best value in Deland. Their house salsas are really good - both green and red are served with chips as a compliment to your meal. We ordered a lot of beef dishes this visit and all dishes came out cooked perfectly! The meat was so tender and savory and paired well with their yummy bean soup and rice. If you are into mixology, they have awesome cocktails. Had seafood chimichangas, which were stuffed with shrimp and scallops.....date had vallarta special.... one thing didn't like was the machine they have that for the bill.... the server tells you the total and you add the tip right there then they print out a copy and send you on your way.... he likes to look over the bill, discuss the food, service, whatever, then add the tip, which he prefers to give cash..... if he is forced to rush through it on that machine, he will usually tip less and add it to the card instead of leaving cash.... it does feel a little awkward, but not a deal breaker.... less than $60 for beverages, entrees, and dessert for two, which was a good deal for the meal we had.... menu is not overpriced!”
