“King Eggroll is located inside a small strip mall. We were stuck in traffic and decided to pull in for a quick snack. We had their egg rolls before but at family functions where it came in trays and it was already cold. We order five of each, vegetable egg rolls and pork egg rolls at $1.90 each. Upon paying the cashier, I then realized they have chicken egg rolls as well. I might try those next time. We ate them all in the parking lot. They were still warm. The shells were crispy and had a nice crunch. The insides were soft with good flavor. Good job staff at King Eggroll.”

“My sister turned me on to this place. It's close to her work and wanted me to experience it. When I got there I was taken back. It reminded me of the old A&W Drive-in. The waitress comes to the car and takes your order. When the food is done she brings it to you on a tray that fits on the door window. My sister ordered the tenderloin and I have to tell you it was big! In fact, she couldn't eat it all. I got the chili cheese burger and some deep fried mushrooms. Boy was it good. I will be going back soon.”

“First of all the food was absolutely delicious! It is my 3rd time here and I am always satisfied with the food and service. Our server was kind and very attentive to our needs. We were seated pretty quickly maybe less than 5 minutes even though it was pretty packed. Our appetizers arrived in 10 minutes or so and by the time we were done with them our food was out. “Super cool interior reminds me of old school bar / pizza joints with tin signs and red and white table covers. Smelled great walking in, and there was a decent crowd for early lunch. Ordered a chicken Parmigiano hoagie with curly fries. Everything is scratch made, so it takes a little longer for food to be delivered. The problem was only one server/greeter/busser for all the tables. There was a random lady walking around, but she seemed focused on what I assumed was her kid. My server was excellent but stretched too thin. Here's the Breakdown: Cool interior +1 star; great smells +1 star; yummy food +1 star; nice server (who needed help) +1 star. I'd go back.”

“This is a gem of a Mexican restaurant a bit hidden near the corner of Packard and Carpenter road (you can't turn left into it directly when heading south on Carpenter). Don't be scared off by the name -- it's neither hot nor spicy. It is, however, a symphony of flavor with a sauce that is unique -- it's like a cross between eel and thai peanut sauces. My son devoured his orange chicken and my wife loved the subtlety of her beef and noodle dish. The menu is extensive, covering many Asian cuisines. You're sure to find something you like.”

Had the mix platter which pleasantly came with seasoned french fries, chicken tenders, and a side of regular fries. Overall, the food was good and I would go back for more and even try their shawarma, which they didn't have any when I visited. Also, I'm not a huge fan of spicely stufd but their green sauce is really awesome. It's got a consistency of chimichurri, but with a kick. Definitely need to try that if you go to his place. Pricing was on par for other halal places I've tried so I felt I got my money's worth. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely come back.”
