“Waking up early in the beautiful Sierra is always a pleasure! And knowing a cute mom and pops Cafe is nearby had me excited! Me and one other friend (who visited this place by himself the day before...jerk!) Decided to catch some sun and get our Joe going! Walking in we were immediately greeted with friendly faces! They handed us a menu and I was torn between so many options! I was hungry but I didn't want to eat to much. On a side note I ordered a Latte to get things started! Boy, I don't know, I had a rough and fun night prior playing the most vicious game of Monopoly until 3 in the morning so maybe that's why this Latte smacked so hard! This Latte rejuvenated me, like every sip brought me to life! I decided to go a healthier route with food finally, not because I care about healthy but because I actually like most healthy foods naturally so I ordered a Acai Bowel. It was just the right amount of everything I needed, the bananas were freshly cut, the oats were crunchy and the yogurt wasn't too thick. Infact, my only draw was the yogurt eventually monopolized the whole thing... see how I brought that full circle?! But that's my fault since I walked back to our cabin to eat it instead of lounging about. One cool lil fact I feel needs to be mentioned is this program they got going... so they have a recycling thing where if you bring your own cup you can refill on house brew coffee for a dollar! Thats a pretty rad return folks! I loved it... I didn't take advantage of it but I will when I come back!”

“I take my grandchildren bowling a lot & this alley is our favorite . It’s clean inside including the restrooms . It’s very spacious , you don’t feel like you’re too close to other bowlers . There’s a bar & snack bar , beverage machine for specialty drinks for the littles . The pizza is also delicious . The price for bowling is quite reasonable . The alleys are nicely kept & seems like they have more open bowling times available . The staff is friendly & the bowling shoes are great not falling apart like other places we went to . I recommend it here .”

“Most of the food here was absolutely delicious. The one food item that was just okay was the cheese grits. The food portions are ample and worth the price. Most of us took home to go boxes. The staff was friendly and it had a nice atmosphere. There is limited seating, so peak times may be a challenge. Outdoor seating is an option. There are multiple TVs here. “Foxes Pizza never ceases to fail with its quality and taste in respects to a chain pizza brand. The sauce is a mild flavor but flavorful, with the taste of the lightly crisped edges of pepperoni setting the pie off. Each slice better than the last. On the day I went I overheard the owner talking about not ordering enough food. The just reopened for dine-in and it had been a year that they were serving takeout only. And the wait staff Katherine did an incredible job of taking care of us. 🍕 Pizza 🍕 was incredible as always this time we went with the crisp and cup pepperoni. 20 inch is way too big for two people, but it's going to make an amazing late night snack. The ranch they have here is a del ranch it's very good but different if you're a traditional ranch person you may not like it but we found it very enjoyable. But you can dial down the healthiness if you want with some neat sandwich choices, and what appear to be really good looking desserts. Great for kids who are picky and great if you want them to eat healthy as well. The closest comparison I can contemplate would be Flower Child and this is a nice change of pace and compliment. “I wanted something stupid to eat - something with a ton of flavour and a ton of calories. Enter Joff's, and the hot dog known as The Aporkalypse Cow. I went to Joff's some ten or more years back and tried their burger. I was not impressed and was indifferent about the idea of ever going back. However, I always remembered one thing I saw on their menu that I have been curious about for the greater portion of a decade - The Aporkalypse Cow: an all beef hot dog topped with pulled pork, coleslaw, and cheese, all on a fresh bun. I finally decided that it was time to indulge in excess and try "that hot dog I saw on the menu", and I was not disappointed. Joff's is in a small - blink and you'll miss it - plaza, and when you walk in, it truly feels like walking into an indoor backyard. Picnic table, plastic lawn chairs, utensils and condiments in metal buckets - it has a homey, backyard BBQ vibe. I placed my order, Aporkalypse Cow and Onion Rings, and took a seat, noting that the ceiling vents needed cleaning. It is a stupid little detail, but my mind was wandering. Next, I noticed something I loved: silence. The only sounds were the staff working in the kitchen and the customers coming and going. One of the things I've noticed is that I care little and less for music in restaurants, especially loud music. Food arrived in a timely manner, and I worried that I made a wrong decision. The hot dog, advertised as a foot long, was massive. I did not need onion rings. The hot dog would be enough. C'est la vie. It smelled great, and it tasted better. An overall smokey, spicy, sweet, fresh flavour made this excessive meal an absolute pleasure. The onion rings were well prepared, though at the price point, I would have liked an onion ring sauce (that horseradish mayo stuff you get at Chili's or similar). Still, a little mayo and ketchup and things go well enough. When all was said and done, I was full, but not uncomfortably so. It all sat perfectly well in my digestive system and I left in a cheerful state. One thing I can say is that they do seem to still lack the ventilation I'd expect them to have in the kitchen, which causes the place to get a bit smokey as their business ramps up. While for some it might elicit memories of grilling in the backyard, it reminds me of when our apartment house burned down, so I had to remind myself that the staff are professionals and this is what it is supposed to be like. So, food is great, service is good, decor and ambient noise is perfect, but the smokiness can certainly be distracting.”
