“When you think about hamburgers, you probably think of the big names. Hardee's is very good but they are never a quick stop. Whataburger is the new guy in town, pretty good as well I guess, and I have eaten there a few times but oh my, slow. Last visit, I went inside and my wait from order to pickup was over 20 minutes. For a bagged burger, that's too long. And it was dry too. So, who else do you have in take away burgers - RBI's Burger King and Wendy's? I'm off-pattern with Wendy's (I owe them a visit) and Burger King - the parent company is adrift in politics? Can I not just get my food politics free? Is that too much to ask for? They wasted so much money on the "Impossible Whopper" - and then stuck with it long into the fail. Someone, at some point, is going to pay for that misjudgement. I just want my meal without a lecture - or, being tracked by an app. I just want my food fast. There's one big name out there trying to app me or force me to do the burger world's version of self-checkout. NO! I just want my meal without having to do their job for them or an app tracking me, slowing down my phone, and being just one more potential cyber risk. It's probably safe, but you know what's safer yet? No flipping app and still fast service. How long should it take to bag a burger anyway? Should I need to "phone ahead?" Maybe I get stuck in traffic, do I want my food ready before me? And if I have to check myself in - or out - I want 10% discount. At one place my $1 sausage biscuit is darn near $2 now! I swear it feels like I'm having to pay extra for the machines they are pushing me use serve myself with. I refuse for as long as I have options. And Cook Out is an option. Cook Out is fast with 2 lanes. I'm sure they have slower service during a rush. Who doesn't? They aren't perfect (stay away from that taco meat and cheese in a chip bag - not for me) Lol, just trying to be fair. Most of their sides are good - and a little different. I like the Cajun chicken wrap and bacon wrap. Onion rings and burgers are good. Maybe there are larger portions out there as well as some smaller. Perhaps Cook Out is not a big name but give them a try - at least once.”

They seem to do a huge take out business and I can see why. The same gal is always working the front counter and is super friendly and appreciative of the business. NOT the nicest of locations but it's safe and always pretty dead around that part of troost. There sweet and sour chicken n pork are BOTH great options. The Mongolian beef was also amazing.”

“Super clean. Great staff. Reasonable amount of food for the money, but we definitely didn't have the "huge portions" or "ate it for three meals" experience others seem to have had here. I ate all of mine with ease and some of my guests' too. Fresh seafood seems to be an anomoly here in the inland south. Even the Harris Teeters smell like the ocean at low tide...no thanks. You'd never know this was a seafood place when you walk in, which is a good thing. There are quite a few choices, but you won't find something like tuna on there. And, most of the guests seem to order fried fish, and fried anything else they could get. I got something baked and while good, it was overcooked quite a bit (dry not juicy), so I drank a lot of water! Flavor is very light on everything we ate. A few pics attached. It is worth noting that the menu on their site is wrong, so I included pics of the current one. There's one pricing error, but I don't recall which one it is. “1st visit. Had the Singapore Noodles. Not the most flavor I've ever tasted but good. Just not great, at least that dish. I will be back and dine-in next time, order something different and update the review if it merits it. I gave it four stars for the service (5 stars) and the decor (4). It doesn't scream Chinese food (the cliche anyway) but it's tastefully done. I ordered takeout, veggie egg rolls with my noodles (good) and the person that took my order was great. Friendly, helpful and engaging, thanks Tom. This is a stones throw from my house so I will try many items here and add to the review accordingly.”

“Ordered a small El Greco. Wife ordered I believe the fettuccine garlic & oil pasta. We shared 3 garlic knots. Super great pizza and knots. Plenty of toppings. Probably the best or at least top two crusts I've had of this style. Great flavor. Wife liked the pasta. The garlic knots are hardcore with tons of fresh minced garlic, which is awesome. Definitely recommend! Upon further review (i.e. I just finished the entire pizza by myself....) I think the El Greco pizza is one of the top....3? Best pizzas I've ever had. What a lovely pie.”

Driving a big truck we parked across the street as the spots in front are rather shallow. We were greeted immediately and given a few minutes to review the menu. The seating area is large with around 20 tables, the service was good and food arrived quickly. Pepperoni toppings were spaced more than we prefer, but had okay flavor. Pizza bread was full of toppings and you could really enjoy the blend of flavors.”
