The woman cleaning was so nice and welcoming when we arrived and busied herself wiping tables, sweeping the floor, and cleaning windows. I had the pulled pork sandwich with extra sauce and it was excellent. Can't tell if it had pickle relish inside or some mystery flavor ingredient? The beans were wonderful and the cole slaw was quite good. They have Dr Pepper and Coke fountain drinks. My daughter enjoyed her cheeseburger which was quite large. Would go again!”

The reason I say this is due to the fact that the food is absolutely amazing, it is extremely clean, and the best reason for the five stars are the owners. They are so friendly and welcoming. Despite them being extremely busy, they always take the time to talk and see how everything is going. There are several other asian restaurants that are close to my residence but I rather travel the extra distance to come here. If you haven’t tried Asian Cuisine please do so. 5 STARS across the board. I’m very happy this restaurant is in my neighborhood. It’s hard to pick a single dish. “Really tasty food! The person who took my order was very nice, the food was ready quickly, and the sauces were yummy. The portion size was surprisingly large and the food was clearly very fresh. The prices have changed significantly from pictures posted by the restaurant in the past (I see the really low prices are pre-covid) so be aware of that. “We’ve been wanting to try this place as we drive by it often. We were greeted when we walked in, promptly ordered, and sat at one of the I think 7 tables. It was clean, well lit with background Mexican flavor music. The food was excellent and portions were ample. We order the 3 taco dinner which came with rice and beans and the combo meal. Nothing really stuck out to me regarding the Mexican food- the pastor tacos were juicy and seasoned well but just marinated cubes(not the style where they carve it off the roaster) and they don’t serve complimentary chips with salsa (other places do. I thought they did years ago) Solid seafood caldo as well- $23 and very filling. My mom was delighted to see the imitation crab meat (an Asian staple) in her soup, along with real clams, fish, etc”

“It’s my first visit but this restaurant has been serving good food for more than six years. The interior is charming, intimate and dimly lit. The staff is friendly and helpful. They feature live performances but was none on our visit. The spaghetti squash and burrata appetizer needed a kick and the crab cakes needed more crab meat. The rest of our food was well plated, well seasoned and flavorful. We loved the seared scallops, grilled pork chop and steak frites. The chocolate terrine was dark and rich. I don’t usually like tres leches but this cake was rich and paired well with the guava sauce and berries. Brandon made our dining experience memorable.”

“Who would have thought that the best Thai food in Southcentral Alaska was hidden just south of Willow on the Parks Highway? We didn't know what to expect when we rolled in for lunch, but the smell coming from the kitchen convinced us we were on the right track. You can sit at the kitchen counter, in the main dining room, outdoor at a picnic table or back in the bar. We opted for bar seating and decided to start things off with a homemade Bloody Mary. Strong showing. Next time I plan to order the spicy ginger margarita. My friend and I shared a dozen oysters split between the Black Sauce and Tom Yum. They were as good as they look in the picture-- the former had a complex, rich flavor profile with just enough kick, and the latter were a beautiful combination of two of my favorite things: Tom Yum soup and delicious Alaskan oysters. I probably could have made a meal of oysters and beer, but was glad we pressed on. The shrimp curry stir fry special arrived with a healthy portion of large prawns served in a rich curry broth. The shrimp were cooked perfectly-- just translucent. We also had the fried frogs legs, beautifully done with mixed vegetables and rice. This should be a required meal stop for any fan of Thai food driving the Parks Highway.”

“We met the founder of PokiTomik at this location and he made our sushi burritos for us!!! We had flown from Seattle to taste these popular dishes, and we were not disappointed. The powdered Cheetos add a wonderful spice to the outside of these big sushi rolls. The fish and crab tasted incredibly fresh. Combined with the mango chunks, and delicious sauces, it was difficult to not wolf down. Would definitely go again, but this time we'd bring more people. Hope this chain makes its way up to Seattle!”

“This is small location that's making some outstandingly good food. There's outdoor seating for those nice spring and autumn evenings, the interior has a modest 9 or 10 tables. I came on a Tuesday evening and was seated quickly. The menu was on a QR code (hard copy menus available upon request), they have a variety of items and combinations to fit all budgets. There rolls were tight and correctly proportioned making every bit a tasty one. The Chicken was thin and cut into bit sized pieces, with a glaze that made you want to take it home. The servers take your order, bring your food, make sure your beverage is full, and that's about it; they stay out the way and let you enjoy the experience that is the food. The wife and I will be back to enjoy some more of the menu. If you enjoy good food in a cozy setting, this sushi location will fulfill all of your desires!”

“Okay pizza. I ordered a gluten-free pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese. They load on the cheese when you get extra cheese! I would consider their extra cheese to be double cheese or triple cheese it's a whole lot of cheese. Fortunately I like lots of cheese. The mountain of cheese however did not make up for the crust. The gluten free crust was thin and flat which is okay if you're making a thin crust that's crispy but this was a thin flat semi crispy crust that was a little too flexible. It was good and I would order it again if I had to but there are other local pizza places with gluten free crusts. If I'm in the mood for a mountain of cheese on my pizza again though Grandma's Pizza is where I will order from! When I picked up the pizza the girl told me they don't sell very many gluten free crust pizzas and she was actually a little out of practice making them. She said the first one she made was way too doughy. She actually gave me that pizza in addition to one that was crisper but also a bit doughy. Very friendly I'll probably try the no dough pizza next time.”

Food is warm, fresh, and there is no wait to have the food cooked. The takeout is approx 7.59 or 7.99/lb. I got Mac and cheese, collards, fried chicken (4pieces), jerk chicken (1 piece), yams for $20. Me and my fiancé ate off of the plate together and were satisfied!
