These are just a few of the words I use to describe J&J Roofing and my experience working with them. After interviewing 12 roofing contractors, contacting references and looking at past work, I evaluated them along with the assistance of an architect and general construction contractor. We agreed J&J Roofing was the most qualified, had the most detail in their proposal and was the most responsive to additional questions. I live in a 1930s Spanish revival home and wanted a new roof that reflected the original architecture and historical significance of our home as well as resolving the old-roof-problems. J&J understood my goals for the new roof and provided solutions that surpassed my expectations. They removed all of the current tiles, cleaned and preserved the ones that were still usable, and reset them interspersed with new tile so that the new roof still has old world charm. This was exactly the look I wanted. And best of all, when it rained recently, the roof performed perfectly. No more leaks! I made one change during the project and they seamlessly incorporated the change into the project without missing a beat. The crew showed up on time every day, answered questions and did a marvelous job of cleaning the job site such that I felt entirely confident letting the kids and dogs go into the yard without risk of injury. With many of my neighbors working from home these days, there were a lot of eyes on the project. Daily, neighbors would come by to comment on the steady progress of the project, how impressed they were with the job the crew was doing, the attention to detail and how much they appreciated the clean up afterwards. They told me one horror story after another of horrible experiences with other contractors and just how impressed they were with J&J. I had access to and the attention of the whole J&J team including the company president, project manager, on-site supervisor, account manager, and quality control supervisor. Each of them contributed to making it feel like I was the most important customer they had. They went above and beyond anticipating and resolving issues and took the initiative to get it all done on time and on budget. They truly represented the best of customer service and professionalism. I’ve never written an online review and I only rarely offer a recommendation unless I’ve thoroughly vetted that person or company. I can highly recommend J&J and have given their business card to neighbors, real estate agents, architects and general contractors. “Our home was built in 1998 so it was time to get a re-roof done. We had contacted 10 contractors to bid on our project and the proposals were vastly different which was surprising. Building material was the main difference in pricing and we did not see a need to get the most expensive up to date method of venting our home as we haven't had an issue with it for all these years anyways. So we looked at 3 bids from the companies we really enjoyed who had professional sales teams and were not overpriced for what we were looking for. Chase came out on top. They were not the cheapest but they provided what we wanted at a price we were willing to spend. The crew showed up for three days due to on and off rain during the week. Wed-Fri and completed everything and were very polite and professional. They cleaned up everything thoroughly the last day and I am very happy with the end product. Our home is a darker gray with white trim/border and we picked the dual black IKO Cambridge shingles and it looks amazing. Thank you for re-roofing our home.”

“Had hail damage from recent storm on roof and also an aging 20 year roof. Greg and Danny supported us through Insurance process. The Insurance assessment is not easy to comprehend. They made that process easy for my wife and I. Our Roof had a significant pitch and lines on roof. The roofing team was amazing to watch. About 10 men more or less worked 14 hours and completed the job in 1 day. Cleaned, and Cleaned and Cleaned to get nails off the sidewalk and yard. Gutter installed as well with precision and professionalism. When they said they were there... they were there. GLC roofing did outstanding job. “This is a quality group of roofers who work efficiently. They work well with your schedule and get the job done right the first time. We had them do work for us twice. First, they did a complete reroof for us including removing a skylight. We had no problems at all with the roof since! Then we had them remove a deck roof so we could have more light. They removed the deck quickly and re-shingled the area that needed it from removing where the deck roof met the regular room. You can't tell there was a deck roof there! They are great to work with and do quality work.”
