“My friend and I were looking for a storage unit to move stuff to that day. I submitted a reservation online and I immediately received a call from Mekala, who discussed the promotions and sizes they had. She was amazing, caring, very friendly, knowledgeable and listened to my needs. I then received a call from Capri, who manages Citrus Heights location off of Tupelo. Let her know I wanted to see the different sizes they had available. She told us to come right in. As soon as I walked in to the office she greeted us with a big smile and took us to see the units. I chose the unit that worked for me and immediately signed up. Capri took the time to explain everything to me to make sure I understood everything that was in the agreement. When we came back to load stuff in the unit, had issues with the lock and the key broke. The place was about to close and I did not know what I was going to do. Luckily for me, Capri worked her magic and found another unit and we were able to get everything in to the new unit just in time before they closed. I can’t thank her enough for everything she did for me. She went above and beyond and provided the best customer service I have ever experienced. I wish there were a lot more people around like her. Thank you Capri for everything. If anyone needs a storage unit, I will refer them to you. You are the best!!!!”

“Facility is nice and well-kept. Staff are friendly. They were awesome during the sales and rental processes, but I had to call several times and leave a couple of messages to get a call back to cancel when it was time to move out. Then we got billed and our card charged another month after cancellation. I called to ask for the refund, but it takes 2-3 weeks and they mail a check. I really wish that they could just refund my card sooner than that. I have a feeling I'll need to call back when I don't have a check in three weeks just because that's how these things usually go...”

I have had numerous bad experiences with moving companies from theft to damage. This was the best experience we ever had moving and we are retired military! The attention to detail packing and caring for every item in our home was unreal! Friendly, punctual and responsive are just a few words to describe them! They had daily inspectors on site and also randomly visit to ensure the job was moving along. The office was terrific, if I called they actually answered and took care of issues on the spot. They took a nervous family with a history of bad moves and went out of there way to turn our experience around! “Kaufman self storage has units greatly priced! They also have a security gate and you need your own personal pin! The manager Destiny has great customer service, she is informative and helped walk me threw the process. They even have insurance you can buy at a low cost! “53' deliveries: Turn on satellite view to see how to do the back more clearly. From Industrial Parkway W, turn nose first into Hall Rd. Once you're straight with your trailer sit and wait for a green light in your mirror for Hall Rd traffic [which means both directions of Industrial Parkway W have red lights as you move backwards.] Long green light, take your time getting back into the property. Jack knife the tractor turning the wheel to the right for a few seconds then quickly get back in front of the trailer to approach the docks at an angle for a blind side back. Once you're completely on the property you can relax and take your time safely for the blind side, you're the only big truck there. Staff will most likely already be outside helping you back in through the street and on the property. If you're a new driver and nervous of your approach, you can always drive completely forward onto Hall Rd again to wait out for a new green light. When exiting, the sign says right only. But if someone is parked close to your right, and the turn would be unsafe. Then ignore the right only sign. Park and go to the crosswalk button, push the button. Wait for the crosswalk light to come on and go straight across all 4 lanes into Hall Rd. Right on Tripaldi Way, right on Hesperian Bvld, right on Industrial Pwky W [if you're tandems good for tight turns] and 880 entrance both ways are available. Do not go in nose first into the property if you're 53' trailer. There is no room for a U-turn. And there is no room for a nose in and nose out the other entrance, you're trailer wouldn't make it and would hit the fence. Not a lot of choice truck stops around to park when empty. I would just go to the Flying J in Lathrop, CA [59 miles away] or Ripon, CA [64 miles away]. A bunch of truck washes nearby the Flying J in Lathrop, like Truck Tub, Paul's Truck Wash, I-5 Truck Wash and Repair, and more.”

Towed me back to the shop and ended up staying in the truck to save some money and they fed me and let me take a shower at their house.
